No more than one game back in the division when Hardy, McClain, Dez, and Gregory are all back on the field. I think that would be a huge success considering the schedule.

Injuries have happened to some key guys, with others suspended and its just week 1. Leary could be out 1-3 weeks, Mcclain and Hardy wont be back until game 5, Gregory 4-6 weeks and Dez 4-6 (with reports of longer). With those guys out, what are your expectations? What would you consider successful?

For me if we can stay at least within one game of Philadelphia by then I would be fine with that. I think the team is more than capable of winning without them, but as long as they maintain no more than a one game gap I'm ok with it.

Dez - this can be spread around b/w WRs, TEs, and Dunbar.
Gregory - uncertain how we do this but maybe play Coleman more to see if he can get inside pressure and hope Russell can add something. Blitz a few more plays with Wilbur.
McClain and Hardy - we have known from the beginning that they would be out 4 weeks.
Leary - time for Collins to man up.

Times like this is when we can really appreciate the coaching staff and FO.

Game 2 against The Eagles to the Bucs = 8 games
If we go 5-3 over the next 8 games, which is very doable, Division title is ours.
And by that point we should be settling in on both sides of the ball.
Barring no more catastrophic injuries of course.

Surviving would be a success. Meaning the team needs to hover around .500 while these guys are out, specifically Dez.

I know everyone is thrilled with the win the other night, but the Giants are the worst team we will see the first half of the season. Losing Dez Bryant, who keeps defenses honest, is a major blow. That's just reality, and the team needs to play some sound football while he's out to give themselves a chance. You no longer have an ace in your back pocket who can score from anywhere on the field, this needs to be a defensive effort with a ball control offense.

Atlanta really did us a solid tonight by beating the Eagles.............with a one game lead on everybody in the division, if we can just go 500 or better over the next month we should be ok. As long as we are in striking distance (a game or two) of the division lead by the time we get everybody back, we will be ok.

Atlanta also rushed for over 100 yards. I like our chances running on Philly.

Run the ball and play defense has always been the Mantra of winning organizations. Its time to show we can do this while Dez is out.
I am not sure Dez will be able to do much even when he comes back. Escobar and Williams have to step up as the leading candidates for more meaningful touches in the pass game.

Julio Jones really opened things up for Atlanta's running game.

He is an unbelievably terrifying WR who is 6-3, 235, with speed to boot.

I feel like Julio is finally reaching the point Dez reached a few years ago and everything is coming together for him -- which makes since since Julio came out a year later AND missed most of the 2013 season.
