What happened to Butler?

my only problem is that if Brandon Williams was healthy, he would be playing alot

yet Butler hasn't

I don't get it

Forget about free agency and forget about center help in this draft. It is bad.

OT is okay, but we won't have a shot at top players like Okung, Bruce Campbell or Bulaga. There are also a lot of highly ranked tackles that are busts waiting to happen. I hope we stay away from Anthony Davis, Ciron Black and Charles Brown. They just underachieve way too much and have that look that all OL busts have (think Winston Justice). I hope looking at tackles like Trent Williams, Joseph Barksdale or Jason Fox.

Guards are hard to tell. I have watched Mike Iupati play (only once though) and he was pretty impressive.

there are too many RT types in this draft, other than Selvish Capers and Jason Fox

That's my favorite right now. I agree on Anthony Davis. I think he is strictly a RT in the NFL. I'd take Black, but not in round 1.

Butler is playing thru a leg injury. It could be why he has not been as effective now.

Butler was last seen holding on Felix Jones kickoff return and costing the Cowboys about 30 yards of field position.
Maybe dumb plays like that are why the coaching staff does not trust or feel the need to put him out there with the regular defense yet.

This coaching staff will not play rookies more then a few plays unless forced to by injury. So no way does any of our young LBs play much unless we get injuries there.

No one learns from the Troy Hambrick lessons. I can't figure out why that is. Guy makes a play or two and people are convinced he is the 2nd coming of Greg Lloyd. He'll develop. At the team's own speed. Good grief.

Ya, silly me to think that a guy does well in limited time, and then want him to play more to see what we have.

I'm way out of line.

Way outta line brah..

Why would we want to see a player who has more sacks in limited time than Anthony 'doesnt hit the QB' Spencer does as a starter

the problem is - what about barber when he showed what he has? just because someone shows some flashes doesn't mean they should an instant starter.

"consistancy" seems to really upset some. the latest shiney object is always the way to go.

noone is saying Butler should start

but he could be our finisher, ala Barber '07

Didn't Victor Butler incur a major penalty last game. Something about a runback being called back because he held or something?

That probably happened while I was eating that pig's feet and swilling that cheap, sugar-fermented beer.
