last 3 games says we are a bad run defense that must play with a big lead 2 win games. Thats what we are. The Defense and the DQ hype train crashed and burned. Reality is here. Now we will see truly what kind of team we are.Remainder of the schedule is brutal.

Defense is the strength of this team. They've contributed to more wins than the offense has. When this defense plays well this team should win. When they dont, this team will lose.
Every single win the defense has been influential in we’re against compromised offensive lines the run defense has been this teams issue for years

that and stupid penalties or phantom and or uncalled penalties
Blame the qb or blame the coach if you wish heck gm is always a good landing spot for blame but I’m going with run defense
No I’m sure someone will post some metric that suggest LVE isn’t as horrible as my eyes tell me or the DE aren’t losing gap integrity like my eyes tell me

if we don’t stop Cook we’ll lose again. If we don’t stop Barkley we’ll be 6-5

the last 2 years of Dan Quinn's tenure in ATL he had some really bad defenses, especially against the run. Hate to say this but I think the crack in the armor has been again, exposed.

No one wants to be harsh to our MLB......LVE. He should be leading the league in tackles or near the top. He should be ballin', but he can't. He's done. That's a major problem for the run gashing. And the hype about Cox is baffling too.

Our defense is built on Micah being Superman. Without that, it’s Clark Kent wetting for the Daily Planet.

Just like teams are totally different from week 1 to mid season, teams adjust at mid season too, based on what they've seen so far.

Teams are no longer going to play Dallas like they did the first 2 months. If a team is in 2nd and long against us, they'll probably run it again. Or throw something quick to the outside. They're not going to let the pass rush tee off on them. Our weakness has been on display, run defense.

When we play the Giants again, Daniel Jones won't be running for his life like he did in our first meeting. We'll be getting a much bigger dose of Barkley.

Dak wasn’t perfect last night but he was far from the main reason we lost
We can’t stop the run
We have receivers not running routes correctly
The secondary got toasted
The secondary has some excuse since you lost your 2 and 3 CB but overall the defense wasn’t as good as they have been

So basically the rest of the team always had to be perfect and because of that. Dak is never at fault…. Maybe he shouldn’t have basically given them two TDs

The biggest fraud has been this overrated defense that hasn’t been able to stop the run for a decade. They always choke in 2 min drives and end of game situations and should never be considered elite.

run defense has been suspect all year. teams saw more film, figured out we can't stop the run. so they are running. on any down and distance and they have success. GB rushed 39 times to 20 passes. Chicago rushed 43 times to 24 passes. detroit rushed 25 times to 25 passes. philly rushed 39 times to 25 passes.

until we stop the run, teams are going to do exactly that. run the ball. and control the game.

we are 24 in the league in run defense and dropping..

we are also suspect to giving up a customery 2 or 3 big plays each game....

What happened to Micah being the next L.T.?
How many sacks did he get vs GreenBay with 14 pt lead?
You are honestly hilarious. Your takes are worse than a leftover McDonalds burger.

Your hero has done nothing in this league except get a costly penalty. And you want to diminish Parsons to protect him? Laughable.

I noticed the hyperbole about Damone Clark has stopped at least. I thought he looked lost in his first game and apparently the Cowboys did too since they only gave him 7 snaps against GB.

Or maybe the Cowboys decided to try to stop Rodgers even if the run burned them. Honestly, I do think Rodgers is what beat the Cowboys Sunday, despite giving up some yardage running. He made the usual miraculous plays for TDs against us. The long bomb was a perfectly thrown ball. I have not idea where the safety was on the play. But a ball thrown that far on a dime is hard for anyone to defend. The other 2 TD throws were just Rodgers brains and accuracy.

In the meantime, our DC decided not to pressure Rodgers much. Parsons had 8 rushes on 23 drop backs. The strength of this defense is the pass rush and Quinn took it off the field most of the night. Fear of Rodgers? Maybe. Or fear of the run. But for whatever reason he took them out of their game and played the Packers' game. This defense needs to put the pressure on the QB and stick with it no matter what, and no matter who because they are not good enough to cover receivers with a QB like Rodgers. And they certainly cannot stop the run.
