What happened to GOTI

There are two halves, no? It was a sluggish first quarter and good the rest of the way.

Of course the offense played its part but it was good enough to win.

The fact that you're trying to be purposely misleading about the number of drives they had really hammers home the point.

They scored 3 touchdowns on 6 drives. Teams average ~11 possessions per game. Back of napkin math - they score 30+ with a functional NFL defense.

20 points isnt good enough to win most games unless you have a great defense. Not misleading anything they had 4 drives in the 1st half. Technically 5 but they had no time. They were part of the loss like they were vs the packers. Never said it was all their fault just said they are part of the loss.

No preseason..

Takes a minute to get in the flow.

2 possessions 2 touchdowns in second half…
Agreed they should have played in preseason.
It does take time to build some chemistry and some flow.

Unfortunately the NFL is a really intolerant place for having to take time to get into the flow.
It's kind of one of those venues where you have to hit the ground running or be run the hell over.

We got run over . While we were getting in the flow we were getting punched in the mouth

They win the game with a functional quarterback that lives up to his bragging and drives the team down before halftime puts a touchdown on the board and takes his team into the locker room with confidence..

Instead your leader throws the interception at the worst time that turns the whole game and demoralizes the whole team.

Then the defense who's already struggling and let up the touchdown before halftime has to go back out on the field right after halftime and get beat on some more.

We need a leader who can recognize the gravity of the situation take hold and make everybody play above their heads pull the rabbit out of the hat once in awhile in big moments he just can't do it.

Bass may have stepped up to do a descent job, but the rest of the OL? I have said since Day 1, it is still an issue.Dak made an awful pass, yes. GP looked disinterested as he did in a few games last year. Unless I am crazy, I read last night our O had the ball 2x in the 2nd half? I have also stated numerous times to the deaf community on here that to annoint this D based upon not 1 game together was insane, and outside of a play here or there, they looked outmatched...pathetic and couldn't tackle worth a damn. That goes for each and evrery member, including Downs outside of the one hit he almost killed Dart on, that was still completed. Hardly time to quit, but exepctations were out of control and delusional from the fan base on herre
I may be wrong, but I believe that Downs hit Dart and Dart fumbled the ball right into the hands of an offensive lineman who stumbled about 3 yards forward.

This is stupid

The OneDrive in the game that didn't end up in a touchdown for the Cowboys because Dak through a horrible interception and ended up in a touchdown for the Giants change the whole game.

And you flat out can't claim that you are the greatest offense there is and come up so small in that situation.

That decision making is completely unacceptable for a 10-year veteran making $60 million a year.

I have stuck up for Dak constantly but I can't in good conscience defend this type of bragging and that type of performance.
Your statement is not actually true about the INT. It was 3rd down on that INT and so an incompletion (which is all that was on the table) just results in a punt and about a 20 yard field position difference which considering the Giants went 55 yards in 28 seconds (and still had a timeout left) it would not have mattered.

Also to repeat the Broncos scored a TD on 35% of their drives in 2013 and they were the highest scoring offense in history which means they came up "so small" 65% of the time.

To rewind again though if you think top QBs dont make risky decisions that end badly then you do not watch other teams because if your standard they cant do that then there are no good QBs in the NFL and there never have been.

They had 6 possessions. The average offense gets 11 possessions.

For the sake of argument, let's say they had 7. That's 2.86 points per drive.

In 2025, the NFL average was 2.23 points per drive, and LAR led the league at 2.80. In other words, Dallas' offense scored at a rate that would have been the best in the NFL last year, even if you include the 7th possession.

Can we at least try to be serious talking about how the offense played?

Please explain how the Giants won with the same amount
Well, since both teams did that, and one of them has to win (I know, ties are possible, etc.), I guess it was the Giants that did so. Of course, more of that was due to starting the second half down by two touchdowns. But, as long we're talking about halves of the game in isolation...
