What happened to our offense?

Yes, the defense was horrible yesterday and was the reason we lost the game but you're telling me the offense can only put up 14 points on the day? We didn't put up not even 1 point in the whole second half of the game and keep in mind this was against the worst pass rush in the whole NFL. We have to start getting creative on offense or we are toast. It is looking more and more like an 8-8 season. We beat the easy teams on our schedule and get beat by any of the good teams. JG and Callahan have to go. Neither one should have been brought back this season. JJ strikes again!

lol.. that is true. I just don't understand how we play the worst pass rush in the whole NFL and can only put up 14 points. Then their oline consists of mainly scrubs and we can't even exploit them to get to their QB.

I'm not putting yesterday on Garrett but I do agree that he'll have to be replaced if we don't make some playoff noise this year.

We should've gotten ahead of this last year the second Andy Reid was fired.

Agreed. Our offense is not good enough to dink and dunk safely all the way down the field and that is exactly what BC's play calling calls for. We have outdated systems on offense and defense.

Based off of the Chargers time of possession and drive start point that helped explain some of the offensive output. But it really hurt them that they didn't get any points off of the Harris punt return in the second half where Bailey missed the 56 yarder. They would have been better off settling for some cheap yardage on 3rd and 6 and then trying to convert a 4th and short as opposed to that kick.

So you are saying because our average starting point was around our own 20 yard line, that caused our offense to only put up 14 points?

Offense shares blame as does defense. SD was able to put together 10 and 13 play scoring drives in the 2nd have and really limited the possession of the Cowboys offense. No excuses SD outplayed Dallas

Our offense is very easy to defense, play the run, and stop it a couple of times to discourage the Cowboys from running anymore. Once the Cowboys start passing the ball, and the defense only has to defend the area outside the numbers, since the Cowboys rarely pass in the middle of the field. Yesterday, there were two instances where the Cowboys threw in the middle of the field, one was a TD to Dez the other a drop by Witten that would have been a big play had he made the catch. Sadly both are considered trick plays since those two plays are out of the norm for the Cowboys.

Witten was actually covered pretty well on that dropped pass too... the defender got turned around for a split second at the end where Witten had a chance to catch the ball but it takes fast reflexes in a situation like that. Also, the defender had his arm on Wittens right arm.

Whats killing us are these soft defenses teams are playing against us.

Dallas can't chip away at a defense. Teams know that they just have to take away the big play.

Plus you don't see a lot of plays that take advantage of these soft zones.
