Our offense is so good that we don't have to resort to trickery anymore. Maybe Bledsoe's limitations had something to do with those types of calls. We don't run reverses much anymore either. It is essential that Romo stay healthy. He is such a difference maker.
Actually the problem was Keyshawn...becausee of his inability to stretch the field...teams always bracketed Terry Glenn and they only way we could get him behind people was to trick the safety to bite up....now the safety is usually covering either Glenn or TO...AND both can stretch the field. It is not rocket science folks....if you have two guys outside that scare defenses, EVERYBODY looks better

Oh dear God, did you just call for a piece of the Bruce Coslet offense to make it's return? :laugh2:

It was effectively and amusing at times. Remember the famous near red zone play. Tight end routes out left falls down and becomes an afterthought to the defender. Tight end quickly gets up and catches pass in the end zone.

The flea flicker is a play called when you see the safety flying up prematurely to stop the run...I'm sure when a team stops us using the safety and we see him flying up regulary on certain handoffs, we'll see the flea-flicker.

The lack of success running reverses with Glenn probably killed that play. The last couple we tried he lost yardage.
