Do you think the Boys will rebuild that same style of structure or go with something sturdier?

Will the rooks get together again later and finish camp?

Thankful no one was killed.

I would think something much sturdier now...this happened to a similar place in my town a few years back. They never even bothered rebuilding the thing.

I would imagine they clear that mess out of the way and practice outside for a while.

They'll probably build another one, much stronger this time and not tent-like.

Today they will have a team meeting of some kind it was reported.

As to the structure I would think they would rebuild it and look for ways to make it stronger.

It was mentioned yesterday that one of the local HS had an indoor practice facility that they might use. I would be shocked if it's not rebuild. It's not in Jerry's nature.

i would almost be shocked if it was rebuilt. it was a parcells thing and when put up, everyone in valley ranch hated it from what i understood.

they went many decades w/o it, time to start again maybe.

I'm sure Jerry had insurance and the company that built it gives some type of warranty. I would think something better will be built in its place. There will probably be a detailed investigation to find out what happened and to see if any fault can be placed. There could easily be many lawsuits in the near future steming form this. I read in an article this morning that the material was just replace last year. One of the guys who was in the bubble yesterday said he felt rain drops inside before it collapsed. If you put 2 and 2 together, a likely cause may be that they didn't do a good job when replacing the fabric. If rain was getting in, then so was the wind and that is likely why it collapsed. Its just like in a hurricane, if your windows are smashed by flying debris, the wind will eventually blow the roof right off the house and then everything will collapse. If 60-65 mph winds got into that seeming flimsy structure, the result from yesterday is not suprising at all.

Correct - there's an artice on TXCN website that references the Cowboys use to bus over to Southlake Carroll's practice facility - they will probably have to do something similar this year until its rebuilt

its pretty embarrassing when a local high school has a better indoor practice facility then the richest and most power NFL franchise... :bang2:

saw footage of the actual collapse on TXCN...very weird. It's almost a "come on, that didn't really happen" moment. Just seems unreal

I think it's just a freak occurance. How many big storms has the facility endured in the past? This particular storm just hit the right spot to cause damage.

ICE, show me any top NFL team that does not have something similiar. Just becuase it was BP's idea does not make it wrong.

Natural disasters are almost impossible to get compensated on when it comes to insurance.

Knowing Jerry he will build a tent 50 times larger with a buffet table the size and cost of the previous bubble.

Jerry will have the "tent" cut up into 3-inch square pieces and anyone who orders a large Papa John's pizza will also get a piece of Cowboys history.

You can start scheduling tours of the new tent already for a discounted price of $300, $250 for kids.

show me where i said it was a bad thing mr sensitive.

all i said was parcells had it built, the people who lived there pretty much hated it cause it stuck out so badly, and since we went many decades w/o one, maybe we can do w/o for awhile.

calm down nancy.

Neighbers did complain. But they just quoted Dan Reaves on ESPN that most all the teams have these anymore and he never felt unsafe in any he had been in. You can bet we will have another for sure.
