What happens now with the practice bubble?

I have the answer:

Underground practice facility.

The neighbors won't complain, either!

I have read or heard that when the lights were moving, the whole structure was swaying back and forth length wise. This caused the side walls to collapse. I figure the early back and forth movement caused some of the fabric at the seam ends of the complex to rip and that was the reason for the first leaks reported.

Not sure, but I would bet that Jerry had some sort of insurance that did include natural disaster on a structure such as this. Otherwise Jerry has a very good lawsuit against the manufacturer (Summit structures). I really don't believe Jerry will end up being out a lot of expense on this disaster.

Now, as far as the people that are hurt, I will keep praying for their complete and fast recovery. God watch over them and their families. These people will sure have all the support they need from the Cowboy family and fans.

Jerry will have the "tent" cut up into 3-inch square pieces and anyone who orders a large Papa John's pizza will also get a piece of Cowboys history.

So wrong yet so funny.

There might have been a problem with the structure prior to the storm, as someone posted earlier in this thread about the skin repair problem possibility, but there is no reason not to replace it with something similar.
It was a freak accident, and Im sure these structures are designed to withstand winds higher than the ones that took down this bubble.
Im sure the manufacturers of this facility will be investigating every component in the wreckage to try and understand what could have caused its failure over the next few weeks.
Still amazed and thankful that injuries were minimal and that there were no fatalities.
This could have been a horrible disaster.

I don't think Summit Structures has to worry about doing an investigation. OSHA is already on the scene and they will be conducting the investigation.

Those OSHA people are pretty damn thorough too. I'd guess Summit Structures is pretty nervous right now.

I'm not sure if OSHA employs engineers (I'd guess they do), but if not, I'd think there will be some in depth inquiry into the structure's design. This apparently isn't the first of their buildings to fail recently.

On the dtox board -( http://www.dtxcowboys.net/community/viewforum.php ) Iceberg posted a still frame from one of the videos as the structure was just starting to come down that showed a straight, unbent beam not attached to anything, falling. That picture showing the undamaged beam falling implies the possibility of bolt failure and the insurance investigation that is sure to follow will be interesting to read when it is done. Built with aluminum and plastic, huh? Hmmm.

If they build another one, I wonder what changes they'll make?

lol, that's not far.
I think they might worry about wear and tear on the new turf as well though.

The wear and tear makes sense. I'd like to think they'd have showers in the new stadium, lol.

NO NFL team practices in their stadium/playing field. Hell, neither do most Colleges or HS.
