What I think Jerry Jones and Garrett are planning

You are in the extreme minority after the Packers game.
I am a lifelong Cowboy fan and a Romo fan boy and I got to admit that the Packers game was huge for me as far as cementing the idea that Dak is the real deal. I'm still impressed that we won that game and how he played. Especially the 97 yard 25 second drive to close out the half. that was a thing of beauty. I still want Romo to get a chance to play this year behind the line and with the new running game. But that Packers game removed all doubt about Dak and his skills/leadership/maturity. My level of confidence with Dak rose to a whole new height after that Packers game. I think about that Packers game and I smile because we got Dak for the next decade. At the twilight of one stud franchise QB's career we picked up a ridiculously talented franchise QB to take us into the next decade. How awesome is that!

We as fans need to stop fighting about this and start doing some celebrating. This is the best time to be a Cowboys fan in 20 years. Me personally, I am going to enjoy it.

I do think this year tho a healthy Tony Romo will be better than Dak. Next year will be a toss up and by Dak's 3rd year he could be the best QB in the league. Experience and being in pressure games is the only thing lacking on Dak's resume.

Romo will start as soon as he is ready. Prescott already knows this is going to happen and he accepts it. I'm positive that the Cowboys could care less what some of the fans think about it.

Dude that easy huh? No variables involved...no scenario where Dak stretches this out? Potentially 6-1 and rolling and you insert a qb who's played in close to 4 games in nearly two years. A qb who in 10 years as a starter has never made it past the divisional round and has notched all of two playoff victories? Not a Romo bash..just FACTS. I can tell you what Prescott is thinking privately; It's out of my control but I'll be damn if I give my job back to anyone. It's how any fierce competitor would think. It's why he never gave the job back in HS and at Miss St. when you read his story.

Even in post-game interviews, he seems to repeat the "it's Tony's team" mantra kinda tongue in cheek like he doesn't really believe or accept it. Just something I've picked up on from his body language, could be my imagination but I doubt it.

Jerry was ready to announce Romo was returning until Green Bay.

The Dak wave and public opinion is effecting team decisions .
