If we take a marginal position player at 4, and spend 4 of the top 5 picks on offense, I'd lose my stuffing.

Fortunately, I see the chances of that happening being, statistically, about 0.

We may trade down and take Elliott, but we wont pay a HB 24 million guarenteed

no offense but that would be the worst mock ever, this draft has the most talented Dlinemen in quite a while and you have avoided to draft a single one of them,if the draft really goes down like this then there is no hope for our franchise.

I know everyone is saying this draft needs to be about defense. But that's exactly what we are addressing in FA so far.

of the games we lost last year, most were by less than a Touchdown. A playmaker like Zeke helps make the offense that much more potent.

I'm not opposed to Bosa or Ramsey, Ramsey actually seems like the best pick. But I can see the boys going this route and I'd be pretty excited.

I'd prefer to see is draft a DE in the top 4 rds but in the mock I did there weren't any available. So I went with Zack Martins little bro because he fills the Bernadeau void.

I hear ya, and I was one of the people here making a case for Billings or Ashawn in the 1st rd. But if you read what they're saying about Thornton, i doubt we go DT early. Thornton is a starter, and so is Crawford.
If you look at our roster it doesn't look like we will spend a high pick on DT.

We lost most of our games by less than a touchdown because the opposition used no-frills basic game plan against us, knowing we couldn't score. I am not opposed to drafting Elliot, but unless we add pass-rushers, we will have to score 30+ per game to have a chance.

Really would love to have all the first three guys but don't either of the last two will last that long
And I don't think you can go through the first three rounds without a dline guy in a draft that many consider loaded with dline guys and a team that can't pressure the QB
Elliott is a fine plsyer but not as big a need as someone to pressure the QB, really like Jackson but don't see him last till the second, love to have mini Martin but it's a luxury can't can't afford

I can see our FO make a similar mistake. The time to transform this Dline is now.Get a backup to Thornton ,preferably a bigger guy like Billings and get Bullard later and you are really set Dt and you can actually weather injuries rather than the whole thing falling off like a pack of cards because of one injury.

Love the first two picks. After that it gets a little shaky for me. I'd rather go DE/DT in the 3rd/4th in this scenario, but i could live with it. Martin is decent value in the 3rd and prescott I can go either way on. I'd prefer to see if he drops further due to the DUI though.

So our DEs when Gregory is out will be Lawrence, Long, Russell and maybe Irving? Sounds pretty mediocre. I could see it happening.

Bro I'm telling you what I think they will do. Not what I'd do. If it were up to me we'd have greg Hardy signed to another 1 yr prove it deal and id be targeting Ramsey in the 1st and a big fat agile 1 tech in the 2nd.
Or I'd trade back to get Zeke and then grab a CB in RD 2 and a DT after that.
This mock isn't my ideal scenario, it's me using lemons to make lemonade.

Im specifically blaming you if we dont draft 5 defensive players with our first 4 picks
