What I thought was amazing about the Saints run

They hate us with a strong undesirable passion and I don't know why. We are not rivals. We are not in their division. We have no history of playing each other besides meaningless regular season games. It's like a Mavs fan (which I am btw) hating the Lakers. Laker fans don't care about us Mavs fans but they do find it funny and cute that the Mavs hate them.

It was really strange reading their comments. Not only are they oddballs, but they're not very good writers at all.

Everyone worries about ending the season on a losing streak and carrying that into the playoffs. In this case that week off allowed them to get back to themselves and they played well afterwords.

I think this is the first year both #1 seeds made it to the SB in about 10 years or so.
Try sixteen years. Prior to this season, Dallas and Buffalo met as number one seeds in Super Bowl XXVIII. In retrospect, the top two seeds met during the 23 seasons between Super Bowl IX and that Super Bowl eight times:

Super Bowl XXVIII Dallas Cowboys vs. Buffalo Bills
Super Bowl XXVI Washington Commanders vs. Buffalo Bills
Super Bowl XXIV San Francisco 49ers vs. Denver Broncos
Super Bowl XIX San Francisco 49ers vs. Miami Dolphins
Super Bowl XVIII Los Angeles Raiders vs. Washington Commanders
Super Bowl XVI San Francisco 49ers vs. Cincinnati Bengals
Super Bowl XII Dallas Cowboys vs. Denver Broncos
Super Bowl XI Oakland Raiders vs. Minnesota Vikings

lmao they well never be more than the bag heade.dloveable losers they ve always been. HA HA HA! "Americas team"???? hahaha ill match your super bowl trophy...and raise you 4 more.....youll never be the Dallas Cowboys so stop trying.

All three are former Cowboys...
I got a pair of e-mails from Nors yesterday. He still thinks Shanle would start in Dallas and is some kind of complete package as a player. Luckily for me he says he has erased my e-mail address now.

Please tell me you are kidding?

I wish I was. He still thinks he is intelligent and clever.

I butted heads with him several times.

I had a PM he sent me on another board where we were going back and forth about Quincy. He supported him.

Famous Nors quote:

"This is Quincy's team. Deal with it!"

He said he doesn't miss this place, yet he still had my e-mail address and felt the need to e-mail me to tell me the Saints won and Shanle has a ring. He's a moron.

He actually started a thread at the Ranch talking about the greatness of Teh Shanle.

Most posters there didn't know who he was or why he was talking about this spare linebacker. They weren't even around to realize he was trying to beat his chest about how right he was.

Does he try and tell his lies about we had a deal for Ty Law for the 2nd round pick we used on Rogers?

I noticed this season one thing Shanle does really well is shed blocks. That's why he's productive on the Saints. He seems to be really, really good at it. I guess it's not all about size and speed after all.
