I would like to do these things.

1. Sign Max Starks away from the Steelers
2. Sign Steinbach away from the Bengals
3. Draft the best available tackle in the first round and start him
4. Cut Adams
5. Cut Kosier
6. With the 2nd round pick draft a WR
7. If Steinbach and Starks cost too much, cut TO. He is an awesome receiver, but Oline is much more important.

2. Start McQuiston and sit Flo on the freaking bench
3. Start Carpenter in the Nickel as an OLB.
4. Draft a QB #1 regardless of if Romo does good or not.
5. Pick up the top LT or RT in FA and draft 1.
6. Pick up the biggest strongest meanest NT I can find - FA or Draft, I don't care
7. Fire Parcells at seasons end.
8. Start letting Hurd/Austin play some 1st team on a regular basis.
9. If Romo sucks, lose out and get in the Top 10 of the draft.
10. If Romo sucks, package Ellis/RW and our 1 to move up and take a great QB.
11. If Romo doesn't suck, package Ellis/TO and our 1 possibly 2008 1 to move up and take Calvin Johnson
12. Pay Bledsoe to go away.
13. Hire a young energetic coach/fire Zimmer/ hire a great 3-4 Defensive C.

If I were to by some stroke of providence suddenly own the Dallas Cowboys my first act would be to invite all of you numbskulls to a game, provide you seating up in the luxury boxes, with full catering, and invite the players to join the party after the game.

On the football side, I'd hire a football guy GM, even if I had to steal him away from another team. Cowboys fans deserve the best.

I'd tell him his top priority is to hire the best Head Coach he can get and help assemble a top notch staff.


I would then get the hell out of their way and stay out of the spotlight.
