I would like to see the Dallas Cowboys run the table, make the playoffs, and win the Super Bowl. Why? Besides the obvious reasons,I would like to see what all of the negative posters on this, what has sadly turned into a anti-Cowboy site, would have to say.Go Cowboys!

How is giving an honest assessment of the state of the team turning this place into an anti-Cowboy site? Serious question.

So what you are saying is that we should just blindly accept the Cowboys no matter how pathetic they are playing just because we are fans? No matter how bad they are doing, no matter how bad they are coached, and no matter how bad they play we should NEVER be down on the team?

While I believe there is a 0 % chance of the scenario you stated happening, I would be extremely excited if they ran the table and won the SB. I however am a realist. I see how bad a job Garrett is doing so I have come to expect them to lose every week. I would love to be proven wrong.

I say either run the table or lose out. 7-9 or 8-8 and missing the playoffs doesn't do much to help us out of our mediocrity and negatively affects our draft status. If we lose to Philthy, we need to do anything we can to evaluate other talent and use it the rest of the season a rebuilding/evaluation process. Sit Felix, potentially let Romo, Witten, Ware get some rest, get some of the backup O-lineman (do we have any?) some PT, practice the no-huddle more, etc...

I'd also like to win the Powerball...just as realistic.

I think the realistic assessment isn't the problem.

It's the constant drum beat of negativity.

Because realistic assessment can be done without some of the constant stream of name calling or just outright nasty posts.

Same can be said for the positive side.

But with the negativity it's hard to distinguish who the trolls are because that sort of banter feeds them and gives them the ammo they need to make this place unbearable.

Which I think they have.

They'd be celebrating the Super Bowl and forgetting the bile they've spewed.

The "realist" would probably be just as happy if not happier than you are. True story.

What is your realistic assessment of the franchise?

only if the super bowl was a blow out

Being real is realizing that running the table is not gonna happen. Too many injuries and a hc that is over his head. No problem with people dreamin I guess.

What if they run the table, win out...win the SB....but do it all in ugly fashion, like the TB win.....all very ugly wins.....what would be said then......

I know what I'll be saying....hell yeah baby!!!!!!

I won't care at that point about the OL or Ryan's defense, or Garrett's clock management.....

I want that aswell, but the cowboys cannot run the table with the team we have now....i mean when people can honestly say this sunday night game against the eagles is an evenly matched game then i don't know man

So the whole purpose of this thread is to antagonize any posters that does not see things through rose-colored glasses? This whole thread is out of line and was started with hostile intensions.

You probably could join a Yankee's forum and make a similar observation about their fans. ;)
