Roger, I would enjoy it as well, but I don't think you would see what you think you would see.

I have no idea, yet, as to how they would spin it, but you can be sure that a whole lot of spin would be going on.

This whole thread is out of line and was started with hostile intensions.

Because the anti-Garrett posters have never ever done such a thing.

my wishes are about as likely to come to fruition as yours

The "realist" would probably be just as happy if not happier than you are. True story.

:lmao2::lmao::laugh1:......I dont believe that for a second......I think they would immediately begin harping on the win as luck, ugly and in spite of (insert name here).....followed by the race to be the first to predict they could never repeat.....then the Jerry haters would rush out to declare that the ONLY reason JJ wanted a super bowl all along was to sale more merchandise.....True story

It comes with an infraction or banning if the anti-Garrett crowd posts an antagonistic thread that is aimed at starting confrontation. If nothing else, a proper response to this thread would be in violation of of the rules. If I turn the question around and start a thread, I would expect quick actions would take place against me and the thread would be deleted. The purpose of the thread is stated that it is nothing but trolling. Trolling is bad.

And if the season continues down the downward spiral, your spin will continue as well. Pot, meet kettle............

I would like to see the Dallas Cowboys run the table & win the Super Bowl as well, but for a lot of different reasons & it has nothing to do with a forum.. I love this team with all my heart, I believe we have a ton of deserving guys who have left it all out on the field as Cowboys & would love to see the joy on their faces if they could achieve this with all the adversity they have been through in their careers.

What if they run the table, win out...win the SB....but do it all in ugly fashion, like the TB win.....all very ugly wins.....what would be said then......

I know what I'll be saying....hell yeah baby!!!!!!

I won't care at that point about the OL or Ryan's defense, or Garrett's clock management.....

I can take the ugly 1-3 point wins , that at least shows team fought and got the victory, I can take blow out losses too if we are beat by superior team which executes in every discipline offense, defense and special team.

What I can't stand is the 1st half utter irresponsible struggles , stupid penalties and 4th quarter meltdowns.

It's amazing how unaware you guys are. Self-awareness goes a long way my friend.

I'm not spinning a thing. If Garrett is given ample time to turn this around (and no I don't think 2 seasons is ample time), and he fails, I will say he failed.

Now if he is given more time and it turns around will you give him credit and admit you are wrong?

Absolutely I will. No one wants this team to run the table and make the playoffs more than me. We're all fans; we want Garrett to do well and succeed. But JG is nothing of what I expected from a head coaching standpoint and it's not even close. And this whole "on the job training" or he's "learning" so we need to give him time is absolutely absurd. Go learn the basics with the another team.......

First of all, football is a game, not life and death as your quote is about.Secondly.after reading this post just let me say that I believe the difference in my observations and opinion comes from a different time and attitude that is a result of my age and upbringing before the technology that we all enjoy now. A lot of people enjoy ripping somebody because it is easy and has no ramifications. Nothing wrong with constructive criticism and having fun,but the negative tone imo sometimes gets carried away. Go Cowboys!

I think the realistic assessment isn't the problem.

It's the constant drum beat of negativity.

Because realistic assessment can be done without some of the constant stream of name calling or just outright nasty posts.

Same can be said for the positive side.

But with the negativity it's hard to distinguish who the trolls are because that sort of banter feeds them and gives them the ammo they need to make this place unbearable.

Which I think they have.
How can you be positive talking about this team? It's not that people with a negative view towards this team root any less hard, but what in the last few years and especially this one, shows any type of evidence that this team can make a run?

Those are serious questions.

We can't focus, lack fundamentals, commit penalties, and, on top of that, we are starting 3 guys on defense who weren't on an NFL roster when the year began.

The only way to think that this team can string a bunch of wins together and have a chance at a Super Bowl is blind faith. Evidence points the exact opposite of that.
