What, if anything, would you trade for Derrick Henry?

I was initially excited when I imagined having Henry but the fact that he's a 29 year old power back and that we gave up next year's 4th for Lance, I wouldn't want to lose anything more than next year's 5th and the following year's 4th. Probably not gonna happen.

I'd gladly trade a 3rd for Henry, although I don't think that's enough to close the deal. I believe he immediately improves our running game, especially in the redzone where they are currently not very good.

I want to win now!

On the surface this looks like a panic classic every move. Also it’s weird asset allocation . It reminds me of letting demarco Murray walk and then using a high pick on zeke

I’d trade a second tho
It would be foolish to give up a second round pick for an RB with a lot of mileage that’s going to be 30 in January. Henry has only one 100 yard game this season, and the Cowboys rushing attack ranks 9 spots higher than Tennessee. We’ve already given up three draft picks for Brandin Cooks and Trey Lance. We need to save our picks because the Cowboys never do anything in free agency but bargain hunt. Derrick Henry isn’t going to push the Cowboys past Philly and San Francisco. Not to mention our OL has had issues.

Good grief!
A second rd pick?
And a pass rusher?
And a starting WR?
HOLY MOLY! These are crazy offers.

Nope, the maximum offer, a 5th round pick.
Otherwise, give the short yardage plays to
the rookie FB and watch him turn into
Mike Alstott. (Google him, kids)

There is no point to this thread. We are not making any trades

Nothing. Trading draft picks is robbing the future of the Cowboys and it adding Henry (30 years old RB and high contract) won't fix what's wrong with the offense.
You are saying that this 30 year old quarterback is incapable and not salvageable to very top levels...sorry, I believe in a person sticking his nose to the grind can achieve final results completely equal to another achiever. An man. Sorry, my view isn't polluted by nay sayers and fowl talking about them.

He is a Cowboy player and given trust by many...I'll live with the momentum changes encountered. They are big boys, for the record.

A fourth with a player. A third if we couldn’t send someone back.

He’s just the type of runner we could plug and play.
