Many fans and Pundits are taking the Cowboys being the 2 seed as a given.
I'm fairly confident they will win but what if they were to lose?
It would be the most cataclysmic moment for this franchise in recent history.
I can't imagine how irate the fanbase would be and if you thought the Cowboy haters in sports media were insufferable before, multiply that by a Billion!
McCarthy would have to be fired, Dak's reputation would suffer immensely and the franchise would be a laughing stock.

1 McCarthy is not going to be fired because of the results of this one game. Not with time and money left on his contract.

2. Dak’s reputation will remain the same. In other words, it depends on who you ask. His supporters will continue to support him regardless. His detractors will continue to hate on him. OK maybe we’ll see many more anti-Dak threads in the following week.

3. After 28 years, we’re already a laughing stock

The hate would be 100% warranted, they have no business losing that game. It would also set the table for a much harder playoff path after the Eagles literally gifted them the division, if these players have any self-respect and want to be taken seriously they'll come out flying Sunday afternoon.

Most of our losses feel like the players were not mentally prepared to play. That falls on the coaching staff.

Honestly, if we lose to Washington I would fire McCarthy immediately.
I'm not sure that all falls on coaches. 1st off...Dak is the claimed de facto leader. Part of being a leader is to inspire your team.

Also...these guys are pros. They know what it takes and how to do it.

Granted....there could be some fault in scheme or game plan. But I don't think that's any more powerful than players not executing. Or "feeling off".

Listen, anything can happen. So let’s not pretend like it would be some miracle never seen before

But they won’t lose. And it’s very hard to argue against the people that are suggesting MM should be fired if they do lose. Not sure how he keeps his job should they lose.

But they won’t lose. Even less likely they lose
Bc Washington probably doesn’t even want to win the game

I wonder what washington fans prefer. a new QB or defeat dallas?
I’ve had some time off this week, and I’ve been really bored. The Washington forums that I’ve browsed show that most of their fans want that number two pick , even if it means losing to the hated Cowboys.

They'd probably rather not even play.

I hope WE...do!
