Most of our losses feel like the players were not mentally prepared to play. That falls on the coaching staff.

Honestly, if we lose to Washington I would fire McCarthy immediately.
That's the thing. We didn't go down fighting. Was mostly a wupping from the get go.

I don't mind losing...it happens. But imma dang sure make you pay for it!

So it makes a difference what you think?

They either win or they don't. Nothing said here makes any difference.

So....what if we lose?
I thought you were benched or returned to the Eagles forum. I’m give a life lesson slick. It’s better in life to be positive than the opposite like you. Take my advice and change your life. You’ll thank me later.

1 McCarthy is not going to be fired because of the results of this one game. Not with time and money left on his contract.

2. Dak’s reputation will remain the same. In other words, it depends on who you ask. His supporters will continue to support him regardless. His detractors will continue to hate on him. OK maybe we’ll see many more anti-Dak threads in the following week.

3. After 28 years, we’re already a laughing stock
1. Just isn’t true. He almost lost his job last year. And he came into this season as a lame duck coach. He’s done a great job getting off the hot seat, to a certain extent. There is still time for him to destroy all the good that he’s accomplished this season. And a loss on Sunday would absolutely do that. Not to mention a quick playoff exit would also do the same

How did he almost lose his job last year. There was never a question that he would not return.

It was only from fans that want to stir up controversy and / or do not understand certain things. As there are many that do not like MM, or any coach for that matter.
They only think Peyton is the only coach worthy, and he is not in the playoffs.

Seems like it we start mauling them early they will gladly fold up shop. But if we mess around, turn the ball over and give them a nice lead, could be a dogfight til the end. But still…they would be the dumbest franchise in history to try to win this game. Win= no franchise Qb, Loss = franchise Qb potentially….
And they HAVE to want some tape on the younger players for the next regime.

What if BOTH Dallas and Philly lose ? How would you feel, even though we'd win the division

If Dallas loses their chances of making the NFC Championship/changing the 25 plus year ineptitude will be near zero.

Hosting home games is super important for this iteration of the Dallas Cowboys.

This isn’t true at all. There was absolutely a time during the offseason where his job was in question. Whether it was real or not, is anybody’s guess, but the Joneses were on record stating that they were reviewing his job. And he absolutely came into this season as a lame duck coach because of it. Nfccg or bust was said by management prior to 22 and 23

Many fans and Pundits are taking the Cowboys being the 2 seed as a given.
I'm fairly confident they will win but what if they were to lose?
It would be the most cataclysmic moment for this franchise in recent history.
I can't imagine how irate the fanbase would be and if you thought the Cowboy haters in sports media were insufferable before, multiply that by a Billion!
McCarthy would have to be fired, Dak's reputation would suffer immensely and the franchise would be a laughing stock.
