He won't.

He has the most valuable sports franchise in the world handing him all the leverage in negotiations he could want.

His #1 priority is making the most money he can.. Like Deshaun Watson.

Except Dak doesn't seem to appreciate the value that the star on his helmet brings. I think he's even said that there's no discount for the Star.

Is that just negotiating because Jerry is a dope and doesn't demand that the value of the Star be taken into account in contracts? Maybe. But Dak's actions have been not signing for 2 years. He doesn't seem that intent on locking in that Star on his helmet.

Jerry used to be arrogant.. He used to be a risk taking trend setter.

Now he's a guy that makes a lot of smart football decisions and he's figured out the secret sauce to keeping us mediocre and in the hunt but no real threat to a Superbowl.

We operate like a team scared of failure.

Signing Dak and knowing we can't build the team he needs around him to win a championship is the inevitable move we will make and he will be applauded for it because it's the smart thing to do.

Even if evidence of paying these guys this kind of money is mounting up.
Either look like a idiot letting Dak go or look like a idiot re-signing him......he can’t win.

jerry would look like a genius if he would make a bet that if Jason Witten could outrun the gimp he gets cut if the cobbled foot gimp outruns Jason we sign him for 35.
Get it done Jerry.

Yeah, I don't agree,

We operate like a team that cannot fail.

There are no real consequences for failure. We just have changed the metrics. We don't measure success as winning or even contending for Super Bowls. We measure success on franchise value, popularity, and television ratings.

Jerry doesn't fear failure because he doesn't even recognize it when it's staring right back at him in the mirror.

What if his demand for a trade is only a request? Will the FO still respect it enough to give it to him?
