I'll probally sound stupid but who is he where is he from how good is he and how could he help us.

He's a RB from Cal. Currently, most believe him to be the 2nd best back, behind AD, coming out this year.

Thansk for the info but I don't think we need him I think we need a good O-line to help out JJ so we need to get Justin Bualock.

Well, Blaylock is figured to be a boarderline 1st rd pick. To be honest, I would not take a Guard in the first round unless he is exceptional. However, if Blaylock were the best player on our board at 22, which he probably wouldn't be if Lynch were there, then you take him. It's all about taking the best player on our board, IMO, if you can't work out a trade down. That's kinda the whole point here.

Take the BPA on your board. Because of his past, Lynch is not likely to be on the Cowboys' board.

:)

If I remember correctly, we kind of lucked into Emmitt. Jimmy traded up to get a certain linebacker, and he was chosen by someone else. That left Emmitt as the next best thing on the Cowboys' draft board.

That is what I recall as well. I also recall Blair Thomas was the 1st back taken in that draft. Knock on Emmitt was he lacked speed, yet did not seem to hurt his career at all. :laugh2:

we lucked into Emmitt, but Johnson traded up to get him...not to get a LB

he WANTED to trade up and get James Francis or Lamar Lathon...when he couldnt trade up to get either, we waited and Emmitt kept falling...that was the luck part

That would remind me of when S Jackson was available to us but we traded down and drafted JJ. Jackson is now one of the premiere if not the 2nd back in the NFL.

Being a CAL alum, I'm a huge fan of his. He has amazing balance, breaks tackles, and is effective out of the backfield. He would be a STEAL at 22 for us or someone else. And I'm here to state in writing that he'll have a much better career than AP who will likely get drafted higher since he played at a higher profile football school.

Now let's see how it unfolds!

You take him all day long at 22, and twice on sundays. Its a no brainer. Draft him and dangle Julius out there for whatever we can get for him.

I can't watch another season of JJ going down from shoestring tackles.
