What if Micah and Bland returning sparks the defense

It can be a mix of both. The game planning with Rush in is different than the planning with Dak in, and they might not go three and out immediately after getting the ball so much. More first downs equals more rest for the defense. Rush doesn't have to be "better" than Dak. They just need to fix the play calling to adjust for it and execute properly. We'll see how things go when Rush starts. Micah and Bland coming back will help too.

Micah will improve the pass rush at least. No more of that Cousins sitting back in the pocket waiting for 8 seconds for his 4WR crap
 
Bland may help, but we've seen Micah this year and honestly, he didn't help the defense that much. He's 1 guy of 11. Teams will put 3 guys on him and everyone else will get 1.

Yeah but the problem you're missing the actual facts the man would be our best pass rusher when you have your best pass rusher out there regardless of how effective he looks other teams will game plan for him around him they will try to make whatever plays they're calling to go the opposite direction or create a plan to go at him with the run game you knowing that as a defensive coordinator you should be able to adjust better than having a bunch of nobodies pass rushing you do realize that Micah Parsons does affect games regardless of his stacking sax the man was putting out a lot of effort ain't no different than overshown..

Sometimes you guys just like pick players out each year to hate on and then we'll find anything to say they didn't look good no you need to look at the rest of the team and then go will we be better with a guy that has a reputation and a motor and yes he was giving a lot of effort maybe you weren't paying attention but whenever they put a lot of attention on that guy you have to have the rest of the team step up because they have opportunities and that is on Mike Zimmer but we lost so many players on defense it's hard to judge any of them or the defensive coordinator because we never got to get his new scheme all in one motion because every week we lost one or two players and when you're losing 8 defenders 4 starters one position and two starters on another position it's kinda hard to figure out what's actually wrong but don't tell me Parsons is not gonna improve the defense a little but then you add Bland and now it's a little more and maybe the play calling can be slightly different.
 
A lot of the selfish individuals won't be around there is a chance we turn into a real team. Players picking up other players and everyone making everyone else better. It could happen.

This is out of our control and that is also for next year.
