Micah was the Cowboys top jersey sales last year. Jerry will pay him more than the going rate.
  1. Jalen HurtsPhiladelphia Eagles

  2. Jason KelcePhiladelphia Eagles

  3. Patrick MahomesKansas City Chiefs

  4. Travis KelceKansas City Chiefs

  5. Christian McCaffreySan Francisco 49ers

  6. Aaron RodgersNew York Jets

  7. Joe BurrowCincinnati Bengals

  8. Brock PurdySan Francisco 49ers

  9. Micah ParsonsDallas Cowboys

  10. Justin JeffersonMinnesota Vikings
Well if you traded Micah and saved $40M. You could easily end up with 2 new starters in the draft and a $40M FA. Especially on this roster that needs massive upgrades.

Pretty sure a $40M FA would sell some jerseys. Pretty sure when we draft a new starting RB next year, he is going to sell some Jerseys.

Do you think Cowboys fans buy a new Micah jersey every year? At some point there has to be a saturation.

When you finish the season at 5-12, I am pretty sure that effects jersey sales across the board.

When is the last time you proudly wore a Cowboys jersey outside of your living room?

So what happens if Micah and Bland returning sparks the defense and helps the team win games. And with Rush at QB as well.

Remember when the defense played lights out when he won 4 games before throwing 3 picks in a loss to the Eagles.
And we got the anti Dak crowd still talking about that to this day. As if it makes Rush automatically better. I take neither side.

I am not defending Dak, or down playing Cooper. But that defense did help so much in those wins.
So will history repeat itself. Like the chicken and the egg. Is it the defense helping, or Rush being better.
What if both fail, as we are still missing other players. Will the pro Rush crowd then use the defense as an excuse.

There will be many interesting threads and posts about this. When will fans scream for Trey Lance. Some already are. I am one of them. Just play him now.
I think they were good in Quinn defense, and you will not see the same production in this defense. I can see Bland getting torched.

They were good in Q's defense until Detroit showed the blue print to destroying Q's defense in Dallas. Run the damn ball.

We did a fair job last week stopping the run vs Atlanta, the most glaring issue was the lack of a consistent pass rush which allowed Kirk to dice us up. Micah will help big time

they did a better job up the middle but they were gashing us around the edges in the run game 19-86 4.5 for BR and they like you said didn't need the run wide open pass catchers all over.if they wanted to run more it could have been ugly..

I like when average becomes great around here and people have to make a note that we did a pretty good job you mean a fair job comparatively since the rest of the season most of the games have been ugly but they were running around the outside at will hell Kirk cousins probably could have put 50 yards on us if he wanted to run,,lol

Problem is if we commit to the run we get gashed in the passing game and or vice versa.

We lack balance. All good teams have balance on both sides of the ball. We are not a good team on other side of the ball.

Let's stop omitting that his stats were below average, period, it was the entire team around him playing lights out. but you are correct should that happen, the dak haters will give rush credit for being average and act lie hes the savior..NOT ON MY WATCH!!

remember107 yards passing and 2 fumbles against the rams before 3 picks against the eagles in which he had three interceptions... Rush had 58% completion % 5 tds 3 ints 2 Fumbles and some INTs called back remember that Washington game 2 Inrts both called back on penalty.. I DO!!

right have some clear memories But many have selective memories, acting like rush is anything but a very average backup not even a top BU!!

been on this team so long and exposed to the NFL and the PS and NOONE not one ,tried to take him recently, not even Kellen who went to the rams and eagles not and didn't try and pluck this superstar whose allegedly better than Dak LMASO..hes not more careful with the ball, more accurate, nor runs an offense better, all fallacies, because the team bailed him out ..Dak got back and took the Rush led bottom 10 Offense that struggled to score and immediately elevated the scoring from 19 to 30 FACTS..
2-5 in the playoffs.

Still without a running game, I don’t think it’s going to matter. The passing attack is not going to be any better. Maybe the same definitely not better. You have to have a Mobile quarterback in this league if you’re going anywhere.
