To eat up a little time and have a little fun at the same time

Let's say that the Cowboys loss this game and miss the playoffs and you are GM...Do you invite Bill to stay or do you ask for his resignation...

points to consider...

Bill will have had 3 years and be right around .500...also at some point if the players aren't winning they stop believing and trying...

The players are young and this is a team in transition except QB and WR...also continuity is sometimes a very good thing...

now would it matter if I told you who the next coach would be...lets say in this scenario it Jimmy Johnson and he is bringing the majority of his old coaches back such as Norv and Joe A, Butch Davis, etc...

Bill can stay as long as he wants. Hes got us more young talent that weve had in years. Give him one more year and he can set us up for a few years

Jimmy would NOT have the success he had when he first came to Dallas because he had a unique situation when he came here. He came nowhere near to duplicating that success with the Dolphins.

I would just love to have Jimmy calling the plays and let Parcells run the team.

Also, Jimmy's success was due in large part to completely stripping and rebuilding the team, you want to wait another few years to get good again? I don't.

Stay. I just would like to see him with more of a propensity to open it up a little. I understand the conservatism in some cases (weather, the team they are playing, etc.) but my fear is that in his old age he is clinging to ideals that may not give the best change to win in today's league!

He stays. I still don't think we're ready to compete for the Superbowl this year - but we're getting damn close. We have a few holes to fill (OL, FS, LB) which can be done in the off-season and rookies that will have another season. I think we're legitimate contender next year.

lets bump this baby...

I had a feeling we would get shellacked
