I've always been of the 'willing to forgive' breed.
I was willing to embrace Malone onto the Spurs, and I'm willing to embrace Owens onto the Cowboys.
I hated Deion Sanders before signing with the Cowboys and cheered like crazy while he was here. I went back to thinking he was a punk the second he signed with Washington.
It's all relative, IMO. I'm skeptical of TO's ability to perform as part of a team, but I'm willing to give it a try. Why? I think we need a splashy move like this to truly compete at a high level. Kosier and Ayodele, a kicker and a Fabini-type aren't going to get it done alone.
If he comes here and acts up, I'll go back to disliking him. If he acts here as Keyshawn did, I'll love the guy as a player.
Keyshawn came in with a similar reptuation. After all, TO was "Keyshawned" last season. It's in TO's hands what he does here...assuming he does actually sign.
