what if we had drafted Dan Marino in '83...the late 80s for Coach Landry might've been completely different...especially in '86w/ Herschel.....then Irvin in '88....woulda been fun to watch.

Moss in Big D tho' woulda been historic.

Jerruah screwed up a lot as a GM. But looking back it probably wasn't meant. It took us passing him in the draft to light his fire. Add in a then focus Carter to guide him and a real HC. We probably wouldn't got that kind of production from him. He probably would've had a couple of pro bowls then act out.

Romo to Moss would have been amazing
No, it would have been Aikman to Moss until Aikman retired. Who knows, maybe Aikman plays a couple more years if he has Moss to throw to rather than Moss being a Cowboy killer with the Vikings. By the time Romo got the starting job, Moss would have been off to his 3rd team by then. Romo and Moss were never destined to be on the same team except for the NFC pro bowl team in 2007.

This what if's is such a HUGE waste of time. This is not just a what if on Moss, it throws in a QB that never played for the Cowboys and also includes Bill Belicheat as coach of the Cowboys. This makes as much sense as if you take all the All Pro's and/or HOF'ers at every position for say a 3 year period and put them all on the Cowboys and say what if and how many supper Bowls would they have won. Stupid.

Aikman retired because of a back injury and concussions not because of who his receivers were.

That is indeed the story he told us all. The truth is football was not much fun at the end of his career.

I'll bet you think there was a 2nd gunman in the grassy knoll too. It's funny, not ha ha funny, that Aikman has repeated many many many times since retiring during interviews and while doing color during FOX games that he would have played longer if not for the back injury and the concussions. Take you conspiracy theory and put it where the sun don't shine.
