What if we get another 44-6 arse whooping, does that pretty much seal Wade's fate in Dallas???

I still believe that for Wade to have any chance at all of coming back next year, the team has to win at least 1 playoff game. So personally, I dont think regular season wins are going to determine anything, Wade's fate will be determined come playoff time.

If we dont make the playoffs or if we are one and done again, then Wade is gone with no questions asked. If Wade wins 1 playoff game and is very competitive in the playoff loss, I think there is a small chance Jerry will exercise that option.

With that being said however, another arese whooping from the Birds will cause the fans and the media to demand Wade's head on a stake in front of the stadium.

No, it gives us a 5-3 start to the season, still capable of making the playoffs. If they whoop us bad again, stuff happens. Hell, it could happen. They're a bad match up. I hope and think Dallas will show up ready and whoop some tail, but we've matched up bad with Philly in recent years.

Ya, i guess it's back to the edge of the cliff if we get beat. We get a beat down, well then there's lots of leaping off that cliff by Monday. Welcome to the media driven age of the Dallas Cowboys. Only way to avoid it is stay off the net on don't watch sports TV after a loss.

If the Cowboys are blown out again, the server will crash here at Cowboys Zone. Traffic is much heavier after a loss. And the I-told-you-so crowd will be gloating because they like being right better than they like watching the Cowboys win.

If we get a beat down, the media will declare us DOA. The guys at ESPN are probably having wet dreams just thinking about it!!!!!

What if we beat them 56-0, would that make Wade's job completely secure?

What if we do lose 44-6 but go on to win all the rest of our games including a couple of playoff games?

What if Jerry handed the team over to Stephen tomorrow and retired to the South Pacific?

What if I won the lottery?

What if...? Well you get the point... or do you?

We gotta have some faith, I myself believe that this team is starting to turn the corner, not into a super bowl team (yet) but a team with goals, accountablility and one one that believes in one another. It will be a battle that the boys will win on national tv.

You read my mind, Thumper...

Anyway, we imploded last year because of internal strife, not because of anything special the Eagles did. We may lose Sunday, but it won't be because we folded like last time.

Yea, I get your point. As I said in my original post, I believe that Wade's fate will be determined come playoff time. He has to win at least 1 playoff game to have any hope of coming back next year, period.

Do you agree???

This game is really not as big as many are making it out to be. Don't get me wrong, the game is big, just not as big as everyone seems to think.

Ohhhhhhhhhh What if? What will we do........What will we do?

If you're that stressed about it just renounce your fanship and don't watch the game.

Can't lose if you don't play.

NO NO NO! This is the biggest game in ever. And we must win! Win or die.

If we lose this game every member of this site will die.

Not necessarily. A lot of things could happen that could effect the decision to keep him or let him go. If Romo went down for the year or we lost several key players, I don't think Jerry would hold that against Wade. It would depend more on how the team played after something like that. If we fell apart then he would be gone, but if we hung together than I would expect Phillips to be back even if we went 7-9.

But if nothing tragic happens and we still don't win in the playoffs then yeah, I could see him being replaced.

I just don't think Jones thinks about Wade the way the fans and media do. The players like him, the assistant coaches like him, the front office likes him. Jerry really couldn't care less that people outside the organization think he sucks.

Wow, you seriously have to renounce your fanship if you get worked up for a big divisional game......Seriously some of you have a serious complex about requirements for being a fan. **** is ****ing stupid and it's used way too much lately.

Excuse me while I become emotionless and keep my thoughts under wrap like communist Russia (Or Washington) so that I can keep my fan card.......BS:cool:

I dont know who the hell any of you dictators think you are! When did you take over the world and decide to say who can be a fan of who and what they need to think, do, feel, act or say in order to be a fan.

For who? The Raiders? Certainly not the Saints.

Oh you meant us. Hmmmm recent years. Do the last two count? You know when we went 2-2 against them.

Back to the topic at hand, it's only going to be a shock and a heart breaker to those drinking the kool-aid. Excuse me if I still take the wait and see approach before putting my heart out there to be stomped on again.
