What if?

We all keep looking for something to change, and for this team to start winning and send a message to the rest of the NFL.

What if they are sending the exact message right now that they want to send???

What if they are unhappy as a team with coaching, certain coaches, schemes, philosophies etc.?

What if they are trying to send some sort of message to Jerry?

Losing in the fashion that they did sure has everybody's attention.

I have nothing to base this on, but I am just trying to make some sense of how poorly we have performed lately.

They looked disinterested Sunday.

How could that be?

If a team has apirations of a Super Bowl, how could they, almost to a man, perform the way they did?

I'm just thinking out loud.

What if your in year 2 of a soft, less disciplined coach after 4 years of a coach that you fear and hammers you?

What if you paid everyone in the offseason, thereby lessening the hunger of playing your best?

What if your owner/GM reverts even further back to his old meddling ways?

What if you are the subject of an HBO reality show instead of focusing on the task at hand?

What if you sell your soul to the devil to sign, support and lie about a piece of trash known as Pacman?

What if your team's talent is overrated?

What if your 2007 was the perfect setup, no real injuries, homefield advantage, etc. and you failed to deliver?

Given the above, what did you expect? Are you suprised?

They didn't look dis-interested that first drive. They looked plenty interested. They only looked disinterested once the game got out of hand.

Especially at 21-7 with the ball at midfield.

WV, I think there is some kind of internal problem with the team, some kind of divide. The way those defensive players reacted when Stewart was yelling at them was weird.

IMO it doesn't help that Jerry almost goes over the coach's head with his speeches to the team and his declarations that he's the one who will decide if Romo starts and his constant need for attention.

It also doesn't help that many of these assistant coaches seem to have been hired for Garrett instead of Wade, and may feel like their jobs aren't in jeopardy even if the team goes in the tank. You know how these things go... The players can and do pick up on things like that.

There's a two headed monster running this team into the ground and the team is cornfused. They don't know who to listen to and now it's exposed. Either Jerry or Wade needs to call the shots but not both. Players have lost respect all around, and now they don't even respect themselves....
