Trucking and construction. Sold all the cows so I'm not a rancher anymore. Not that I was ever much of one to begin with.

I'm at pace when out on the tractor. Lose complete track of time out in the pasture or in the woods. I want to grow something here. I was thinking of a vineyard, but I'm not sure I'm patient or disciplined enough.

I hear you. I am presently a commercial vegetable farmer. Its complicated. But l am doing my best....sure, l grew up in east coast Canada and hunting was/is cultural. I grew up in the peacefull woods. Fèel my happiest there!! Real country type. Could never live in a city or even close to one.

I hear you. I am presently a commercial vegetable farmer. Its complicated. But l am doing my best....sure, l grew up in east coast Canada and hunting was/is cultural. I grew up in the peacefull woods. Fèel my happiest there!! Real country type. Could never live in a city or even close to one.

Just a few weeks after getting construction loan on our house, the school district bought our old dairy farm next door for the new high school. Geez, at least it's about a mile away. So many people around here but it's home.
It's good you are growing vegetables. Keeps you grounded and realistic even if it is commercially.

Appreciate that one brother, got 12 yr old twins labeled. Only thing different is, they just learn different, thats all.
