I read an article of writer stating a team (rumor) would think about trading for Dak if he doesn't play well this season and make noise in the playoffs. Good or bad season, what is Dak's trade value in your eyes, what would you give as an NFL team to get him?

In the NFC I believe his value is quite high……in the AFC, not so much

The top 8-9 quarterbacks in the NFL are the real deal but the rest have glaring weaknesses

No better time in NFL history to merely be an above average Qb

Two firsts, two 3rds and a 4th.

Probably like a 3rd when he doesn't play well this season and probably ends up missing a few games with an injury at some point.

There would be some team stupid enough to trade for him. A sucker is born everyday.
I think there are some teams that would be perfectly happy with just winning records and making the playoffs. This Cowboy drought is hanging over the franchise though, they need to make the NFCC at a minimum...

Who would trade for that huge salary, I know a contract would need to be negotiated. But he would need to agree to be traded. That clause is still in effect.

They would be lucky to get a 1st round pick though.

The league knows his value ..... and if you add a mediocre to poor upcoming season to his resume .... it's not much.

Only saving grace is that some team would give a little more just to try & get to mediocre to appease the fan base.

It's very dependent on what team Dak would say if that team would make the playoffs or not.

For Dak to be successful you need to be a run first team with a solid defense.

If you're bringing Dak in to carry you then you're losing.

Any of the teams with the bottom 16 QB's not on long term deals because to some teams it is not about SB or bust, it is about upgrading wherever they can.

Now, if they're picking in the top 10, probably going for a rook QB unless they feel they are that guy away from making some noise.

Remember when everyone was laughing at the Lions for taking Goff in that trade? He's a pretty good fit for them.

Prescott is as high a profile QB as there is in this league and the NFL MotY. You might be surprised how many GM's would be interested.

Daks high profile only because of the star on his helmet. Outside of that the guy has no skins on the wall to claim that he would be a difference maker. That being said, if someone is dumb enough or desperate enough to hand over a high first round pick for him, why would we balk?

We wouldn't, the Joneses would. Booger has his ego vested in Prescott and it would take a meltdown for him to let him go.

He would also have to start over from square one, do you really want that? These people picking a QB?
