What is Dak's Trade Value?

I read an article of writer stating a team (rumor) would think about trading for Dak if he doesn't play well this season and make noise in the playoffs. Good or bad season, what is Dak's trade value in your eyes, what would you give as an NFL team to get him?
Oh, around a 1,2, might even get two 1sts. Talk to teams who are a QB short, and might get even more. Titans, maybe, if Levis doesn't pan out. Same w/ Colts/Richardson. MIA when Tua gets hurt again. Patriots, Buccaneers, Falcons if Ridder busts. Cousins is in final year of deal. Bears maybe. Commanders might even give up the farm as they have nothing at QB. And a very good team. See if they'll cough up 3 firsts and a couple seconds.

One thing most teams do is evaluate their past picks. Too many 1st round busts and those #1's don't mean as much to them. A sure thing QB beats what might come with a couple of picks.

And one thing that is fact. All 32 teams are better at evaluating QB's than any of us. They have a lot more info than we do.

It sure is tough finding a QB that leads the NFL in INTs while missing 5 games and fails over and over in big games.

What ever would we do without Dak?
That was an anomaly last year compared to previous season. We will see if it continues this season. If so, yes a huge problem. I am willing to wait and see...again...
Hopefully it is not a new trend.

What would we do without Dak? I want to be a smart aleck and say .... WIN ... that should be a triple bagger ...:popcorn::popcorn:

Well, win further than the divisional, hopefully, with or without him. This team needs to go further.

Plus, it's happened many times where a player has been underperforming due to his current team not building to his strengths. Dak is far from terrible, and would be a huge acquisition for, say, Wash.

We wouldn't, the Joneses would. Booger has his ego vested
And that right there is why the Cowboys have not won anything or even come close to competing for a Super Bowl in over a quarter of a century. If Jerry Jones was the GM of the KC Chiefs when Alex Smith was QB he would have stuck with Alex Smith instead of drafting Mahomes. We are seeing that right now with Prescott

Daks MO has always been that he was turnover prone against good defenses. Against the better teams look at the fumbles and interceptions.

It's very dependent on what team Dak would say if that team would make the playoffs or not.

For Dak to be successful you need to be a run first team with a solid defense.

If you're bringing Dak in to carry you then you're losing.
Yeah, very situational,,, and most teams with a great d and running game didn't get there by selling the farm for 2nd tier players, they would rather draft their own.

I’ll have what your smoking. No way ant team with sane front office gives that up for Dak and I like him
Do the research. Seahawks got 2 firsts, two 2nds, a 5th, Noah Fant, Drew Lock and a DT all for Wilson.

Wilson was older and way past his prime.

Texans got 3 first round picks for Desaun Watson. Watson was out of football for a year and a half and was in legal trouble with the league.

And dont even bother telling me that Watson or an old Wilson are better than Dak in his prime.

Cowboys might be able to get more than I said depending on when they traded him. If it was in the next two years for sure.

A 3rd, with a possibility of it turning into a 2nd based on production. That's tops But really, it all depends on the team you're trading him to. How desperate they are, where they might pick the following year.

Who would trade for that huge salary, I know a contract would need to be negotiated. But he would need to agree to be traded. That clause is still in effect.

They would be lucky to get a 1st round pick though.
I don't know what team would give him a 40-50M a year contract and two 1st round picks plus. That's bordering on what an elite QB would get.

That is so far off its laughable. I realize the other trolls are just trolling, but is that really your educated guess on what we would get? Do some research and tell me all they would get is a first rounder if they were lucky.

Dak is top 10 and he has been more than playing up to his contract. There isnt as much of a debate as its a study of what other good QB's have gotten recently in trades. Wilson and Watson have been traded in the last two years and its public knowledge. Dak in his prime would be worth more than those just as much if not more than those QB's in a trade.

Crazy things do happen .... but Wilson was elite for his career until the trade & had skins on the wall. Watson as a player is much more pedigreed and seemingly has the talent to take a team further than Dak has shown. Just because Cleveland was crazy though doesn't mean anyone else would follow that template.
