We really don't have much money and the big names like Jenkins, Huff and NA were asking for too much. Not the Cowboys fault. Abram Elam isn't a flashy name, but he's played for Ryan. Same thing with Kenyon Coleman. They can come in and know the system right away, as well as helping the current players on the defense learn the system quicker.

Why would any top FA want to come here? We're not on the verge of making the playoffs and just came off a 6-10 season.
The reason the Eagles are getting all these guys and at discount prices are because they're on the cusp of a few SB runs.

Free, Kosier, Spears, and Coleman all have obvious ties to the team as do Asomugha, Elam and Sensabaugh.
Parcells used to do the same thing. Marco Rivera was his big signing. I just hope we do not end up with another Rob Pettite starting.

We have watched the Commanders sign every high profile player on the market for years, we all see how many super bowls that got em.
Im glad we arent pursuing 30+ year old players and paying them millions.

Patience everyone. IF the free agent signing period comes and goes without the team doing anything else there will be plenty of time to chastise Jerry. For now we don't know who the team is talking to. After realeasing Davis, Williams, Colombo and Barber I have to believe there are discussions with other players.

The Eagles decided to let all of their own free agents walk, including several starters. That left them with a lot of cap room and a lot of vacancies to fill. I'm still not sure who they plan on playing at linebacker and safety next year.
