Does it matter?

Only if you're not a hypocrite about whining. If whining is annoying and unwanted on a message board, then it doesn't matter who it's directed at.

Are they finally going to get a trophy for their case by winning the off-season?

Oh that's right, they don't hand out trophies for that. So Eagles can win the off-season all they want. It don't do **** for them just like it didn't for the Commanders.

You people need to quit whining.

:signmast: Amen.

The Eagles are spending money like they have no tomorrow. But tomorrow will be here soon enough. If they win it all this season then they can be applauded for making great moves. If they don't.. and I will have to see it to believe it... then they can join the dead skins as wannabes who tried to buy the trophy during free agency.

Think of the fun we can have then?

If they were one player away... but for crying out loud, too many new "big names" could destroy any chemistry they may have had.

We shall see. I for one in more interested in other things than crying over what the Eagals may, or may not be achieving in free agency.

Ok. Forget the whining - do you think the team is improved over last year?

Be honest...

I think we have improved in the coaching department, the Oline (still not where it needs to be but improved), the QB position will be improved because the starter is back, and we cut dead weight in the RB and WR areas in my opinion. It's obvious there are areas to still address but those areas have not gotten worse they just have remained the same at this point. It will depend on how the remainder of FA and our draft picks shake out.

Overall I think the team has improved some. My point was that too many people are going overboard when we see a name on the back of a jersey we like and when we don't get him we cry like a little kid not getting their way in the candy aisle at the supermarket. It's the team name and symbol on the helmet that matters and I think JG has full grasp of that. Red Ball and Ryan have plans, lets see where they go.

In all honesty the only non move that has really bothered me was us not going after Weddle and he got overpaid anyway. NA would have been nice but more a luxury...it just sucks that he wound up in our division. Lets see how JG game plans for him when we face the Eagirls.

I love how anything remotely critical about the Cowboys is automatically dismissed as "crying" or "whining," as if there's nothing to worry about and everything will be just fine. No sale. Noticing a gap between and Eagles and the Cowboys is not whining; it's the truth. Your tired "all is well routine" is as offensive as it is dishonest. Get some new material.
Don't forget chicken little. You can't disagree or find fault with anything without being called a chicken little.

I think its important to focus on building a team rather than going out and signing a whole bunch of big names which is what has set us back in the past. I think the coaches and Jerry see this. They aren't stupid. The development of our young players should be top priority. This will allow us to become even better down the long stretch and get younger which is becoming more and more important in the NFL each year as aged players become less and less productive...at certain positions of course.

On the Professional level it is and has been stupid and utterly insane to watch the non-development of an OL at an NFL Franchise QBs expense.

Just crazy.

Patience everyone. IF the free agent signing period comes and goes without the team doing anything else there will be plenty of time to chastise Jerry. For now we don't know who the team is talking to. After realeasing Davis, Williams, Colombo and Barber I have to believe there are discussions with other players.

Right...what was it that Parcells use to say....you can't eat an elephant in one bite....
