I have buddy that is a 49ers fan him and his buddies have blown up my FB page talking about how the 9ers are going to walk all over the Cowboys this season. Hey if this were a week before th game OK no problem but I consider it bad form this early into the "season". I am being overly sensitive or are they just be obnoxious 49ers fans.

There are Eagles fans on my Facebook feed already posting about winning.

I don't know why so many people keep making predictions about the season before the draft and camp.

Bro, what team do you root for? The fans of 31 other teams are obsessed with us. They all want to be like us and because they know that no matter what they do or how much they win they will never be like us, all they can do is get off thinking about beating us.

And yes Forty Whiner fans are obnoxious.

The only thing that's absolute for any team is that your divisional games are going to be a knock down, drag out affair. Other than that ... nobody knows.

Both SF and Seattle fans have really gotten out of hand lately. You aren't imagining it.

I have a lot of experience in the matter with SF fans and I can assure everyone that there are no more arrogant or worse fans when their team is doing well than 49ers fans. It is why I still hope they go 0-16 from now till the end of the world. I loved their decade long suck streak, and hope very much to see them go back to it sans any new Super Bowl success.

I think you just said something. The NFL knows and Jerry never lied "The Cowboys are the best show on TV". The scheduling proves it. Primetime all the time. I just hope we don't embarrass ourselves more times than not this year.

I have a very good friend that is a Bronco's fan. All last season he continually ragged on me after every Cowboys loss. I got really sick of the "how bout those Cowboys" texts after each loss. All the while, his Bronco's were blowing teams out and looking unstoppable. It didn't help when we lost to the Bronco's either. After each "how bout those Cowboys" texts, I told him, you better hang on to your *** after the Bronco's get beat in the playoffs or the SB. I told him that I was going to be relentless. All he did was laugh.

SB Sunday felt like a Cowboys SB to me. That's how happy I was, but I resisted the impulse to text him after the first snap flew over Manning's head for a safety. As the Seahawks continued to score in the first half, my texting fingers were getting real itchy but I remained patient, after all, we know what Manning could do. It was real hard after the pick 6 right before halftime but I still resisted. I went in to halftime feeling like a little kid on Christmas Eve.

Halftime ends, the Bronco's kick to the Seahawks and it's off to the races for ANOTHER Seahawk TD. It was time to unleash the sheer HELL I had been withholding during all those "how bout those Cowboys" texts, and unleash it I did. All throughout the night, and in to the next day, I took pictures of the final score with my phone and forwarded them to my friend, along with comments of course. He was now speechless and finally just quit responding to me. I left it at that but I can guarantee you that he will think about it this year and the "how bout those Cowboys" texts will be few and far between. Make sure your buddies know it better be a SB win, or bust, and that you will unleash HELL after they lose AGAIN.....

It is kind of annoying how every other team's fans seem unreasonably obsessed with the Cowboys. I mean, I kind of get it in that I agree there is too much media coverage of this team. That's not really our fault as fans. It's as much theirs for continuing to click on articles and watch Cowboys coverage. If it were up to me, the media wouldn't talk about Dallas at all.

If you follow NFL.com or Madden or something on Facebook, just wait until they happen to post an image that has anything to do with Dallas - in comes a flood of unimaginative, hamfisted image memes about Tony Romo. No other team gets treated that way. NFL.com regularly changes their FB banner to different teams, and as soon as it's the Cowboys turn, there's a huge flood of morons crying about how they're sick of seeing all the Cowboys nonsense - meanwhile, every other team has been represented.

It's very strange. I've never once felt the urge to comment on a story about another team, or put down another team's fans (exception: Eagles) because who cares? That's not the team I follow.

Eagles fans are in for a rude awakening this year. The injury bug is going to catch up to that team and hopefully they don't keep playing against 2nd string quarterbacks.

It's almost never the informed/ football educated fans.

The best way to deal with those fans is to just completely outclass them in knowledge of their own team.

That's what I do. And I'm sure most of you all could too, what with us being those people who post on football forums in April

This is something I always post whenever someone brings up the Cowboys unprovoked. It is so true and relevant.

This 100% They shut up pretty quick or give you that tale between the legs...let's move on "look." I have friends who are fans of other teams who now ask me to give them my synopsis for their season (like anyone really knows anyway). People seem to underestimate dedicated Cowboy fan's knowledge and irks them even more so knowing you can school em.

i hear you on this i spent most of my life in Colorado and Bronco fans love to rag on anyone who reps the star. they are obsessed with watching to see if the Cowboys lose.

i would literally hear crickets chirping about the NFL in general unless the Cowboys lost a game, then the noise was unstoppable.

i think they all suffer a continuous bout of PMS b/c of how many Texas transplants end up there and how many more Cowboys fans keep "invading their territory" (even though we all know that America is Cowboys territory)

Foles isn't going to have a Cinderella season like last year either....which still only barely got them the division...if he just plays average this year they are a 6-10 team

It was amazing how every break seemed to go their way last year. The book is out now on Kelly and Foles, and Jackson is gone. I am not on board with everyone calling on Philly to repeat as divisional champs.
