What is it with other Team's Fans?

It's not because they're jealous of us or want to have the notoriety the Cowboys have. Maybe in another generation that was the case, but that was 20 years ago. Other fans are jealous of a team that has 1 playoff win since the mid 90s? You guys are smarter than that.

They rag on us because we have a tremendous fan base filled with our own share of obnoxious fans, and our fans feel a sense of entitlement because of our history pre-1995. Our fans really have nothing within the past 20 years to puff their chest up about, yet every year millions of Cowboys fans display that false sense of entitlement based on events that happened an entire generation ago. Other teams fans probably find that hysterical, and in turn jump at every notion of cowboy news with a dose of reality for our fans "1 playoff win since 95" "Tony romo chokes" "Jerry jones is senile" "Garrett iced his own kicker". Then, our fans get mad when they're put in their place because all those things they're saying are true. They love watching us embarrass ourselves on national tv because every time it happens it just further cements what a joke our franchise has turned into.

It was amazing how every break seemed to go their way last year. The book is out now on Kelly and Foles, and Jackson is gone. I am not on board with everyone calling on Philly to repeat as divisional champs.

We whooped em week 5 and almost beat them with Orton and a terrible D. They are far from a "powerhouse." You stop McCoy, you stop the O. With all of McCoy's legal troubles, he isn't a given to be 100% focused this season as well. Cooper is overrated and Maclin is coming off injury. Celek is a good TE but not all world. They are vulnerable.

It's all fans. When a team that has been down for years finally starts winning, or with expansion teams start wining. The arrogance comes out.

Panthers and Jaguars with their early years success making it to the NFC & AFC championships games. Once the Saints started having some wins. Seahawks now. Broncos fans have always had an attitude. And Steeler fans just plain suck. TB fans got arrogant for ahile until they started losing again, then went back into the woodwork like so many other teams.

Dolphin fans are fair weather fans, and can be that way too. Patriot fans I never really dealt with that much, but seemed before they started winning. 49ers fans are just obnoxious. Chiefs fans think they are entitled still to be the 1st team in Dallas. Before they were ran off. They still hold that grudge. Of the ones I know anyway.

And GB fans, arrogant too. With the "we don't have an owner, we fans are the owners". I always ask them when was the last time they were asked for their opinion, or how much profit they make.
Bengals, Browns, Lions, Chargers, Vikings, Falcons, Rams, Titans, Ravens, Bills, Cards and even Jets fans I never had any issues with. Most Raiders fans were even ok. Commanders were even ok most the time except the dumb blowhards. And now the RG3 craze. Eagles fans, they are classless. Giants fans I knew, most were ok, they didn't even throw it in my face when they won the SB's with Eli.
Colts fans were decent. Bears were ok, just a few hardcore fans, but nothing arrogant.

Now I met quite a few idiot arrogant Texans fans. Even though I'm in Houston now, I wear my Cowboys ball hat [not on backwards] And no one has said anything to me, but one guy, just said wrong hat and smiled. I told him, no way, it's the only hat. He just kept walking.

They take it out on Cowboys fans for all the years of success, and even to this day all the attention win or lose they get, and all the fans around the world.

Once Dallas gets back on top, I'm sure many will be jumping all over their friends as well. Rather payback or just happy to be winning again. [waiting for the we will never win with Jerry comments]

I think most are fed up in seeing a franchise that hasn't been close to competing for a Super Bowl, but year after year they have to see them in Prime Time and listen to the media talk about them all the time.

I have a very good friend that is a Bronco's fan. All last season he continually ragged on me after every Cowboys loss. I got really sick of the "how bout those Cowboys" texts after each loss. All the while, his Bronco's were blowing teams out and looking unstoppable. It didn't help when we lost to the Bronco's either. After each "how bout those Cowboys" texts, I told him, you better hang on to your *** after the Bronco's get beat in the playoffs or the SB. I told him that I was going to be relentless. All he did was laugh.

SB Sunday felt like a Cowboys SB to me. That's how happy I was, but I resisted the impulse to text him after the first snap flew over Manning's head for a safety. As the Seahawks continued to score in the first half, my texting fingers were getting real itchy but I remained patient, after all, we know what Manning could do. It was real hard after the pick 6 right before halftime but I still resisted. I went in to halftime feeling like a little kid on Christmas Eve.

Halftime ends, the Bronco's kick to the Seahawks and it's off to the races for ANOTHER Seahawk TD. It was time to unleash the sheer HELL I had been withholding during all those "how bout those Cowboys" texts, and unleash it I did. All throughout the night, and in to the next day, I took pictures of the final score with my phone and forwarded them to my friend, along with comments of course. He was now speechless and finally just quit responding to me. I left it at that but I can guarantee you that he will think about it this year and the "how bout those Cowboys" texts will be few and far between. Make sure your buddies know it better be a SB win, or bust, and that you will unleash HELL after they lose AGAIN.....

considering the rumblings taking place in SF with Harbaugh and the fact that Aldon Smith can't seem to stay out of trouble if I were a 9ers fan I would be a bit more concerned about what is going on.

Totally disagree. That's like me spending my time & energy debating a 3-year old on the meaning of life and why our social fabric has totally changed in the past 30 years and waiting for his counter argument.

If we are all the things you/they say we are, what does that say about those fans of other teams who get so much fulfillment out of "the joke" that we are? Seems to me to be a lot compulsive obsessive.

Basically, I could care less what any other team outside of our division is doing until the week that we play them.

Look I will talk trash the week of the game. I however will not talk trash about another team in April, before the draft, or OTAs too much time between now and when the action starts where things can change on a whim.
