Failing that, a new QB and possibly a WR #2 or 3

If the playoffs have told us anything this season there is only one elite quarterback. San Francisco and Philadelphia have the best rosters. I think it is easier to build a roster but you can’t pay the quarterback. The Eagles will learn that lesson real soon.

Daniel Jones is about to get the same contract, it’s the going rate for the position.

That's what people don't understand it's not about anything else, do you actually think they're going to low ball themselves when the market suggests this amount?

On the other side these players don't often play the same after getting paid causing us as fans to say they're overpaid

You almost have no option, but to pay your guy. Look at the Colts, tried to go the veteran route and it has failed. On the other end the Jets, used the #2 overall pick and now are looking to replace him.

The Jets situation doesn't justify the decision on Dak, just proves both routes don't guarantee success.

Improve the talent around our QB, if you see similar results, then you look to move on, but you cannot make that judgement of our current group.
