LT, C, young WR corps.

Everything else can be upgraded, and/ or is aging.

EDIT:
and a kicker that we can depend on.

Either the state of Texas or the stadium. Of course you could say the number of Cowboys' fans is largest.

Romo is number 1 thru 10.

Another wording to the question could be "What player would fetch a 1st round draft pick from another team?"

After Tyron Smith, anyone else is debatable given contract concerns. Romo with his back issues makes him a risk. (Why not take a fresh Manziel instead?)

I don't know if he has the mental makeup and more than a few who should know echo that.

Pick your flavor then. A Bortles or Bridgewater the same equation is there. You get a cheap 4 year contract to go with it, compared to Romo's numbers and injuries.

Maybe a team like the Texans takes that risk, but it's a lot more to ponder than Tyron Smith, that is for sure.

I'll pass. We don't need a QB until we're on the cusp of Romo's contract and/or decline in play. Preferably a year at most two before that happens. Not now though although I respect your opinion. You can't pick high and have them sit most of their five years.

That's fine. I'm looking at it from another team's perspective.

Your house is only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it.

Plenty of talk on these forums are about what our weaknesses are and how we can remedy them, I figured a more optimistic discussion of what our biggest asset as a team is. What do y'all think?
Young OL that is coming into its own.

A year ago I would have said Romo but with the injuries hes sustained, questionable back, increasing age and a history of questionable decision making I can't say I feel that way any more.
At this point I have really lost faith that our core of vets (Romo, Witten, Ware) will ever be able to put a run together. I am starting to see them as more of a liability than an asset.

IMO the most valuable assets for the future of this franchise are:
1. Tyron
2. Dez
3. Frederick
4. Lee
5. Murray
6. Bailey
7. Harris

We have a few guys I consider on the fence:
Mo
Carter
T Williams
Beasley

Young OL that is coming into its own.

3 players 1 of which has knees that will end his career soon or at least threaten that. I would be very pleased with a draft pick in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Generally I agree, I'd put Lee above Frederick because if he can stay healthy he's a top 3 ILB in the league, even when he's not healthy he's a huge difference maker. I'd also place Bailey at 4, bumping Fred down to 5 and Murray down to 6. We have a top 3 kicker in the league with no reason to think he can't do it for the next decade. RB's usually fade out after a few seasons so Murray isn't long-term, Frederick was good but he's probably about the 12th best center in the league or so, he'll continue to improve but if I was picking one for the future of the franchise right now I'd go Bailey.

Romo is our biggest asset and its not even close.

Lol at the posters who act like he's been injury prone!
