I talked with "shorts guy" at our high school football game Friday night.

It was 25 degrees.

I asked him why, .. he said "I don't know."

I asked him if he gets cold, .. he said "I don't know, I just like shorts."

I asked him about his son's knee surgery, and told him I thought he was a knucklehead for wearing shorts when it was this cold, and we both laughed.

He said, "I know."

His son told me he is bringing a small heater to the State Championship game this Friday night. Gonna be in the low 30's with freezing rain or flurries.

I'll have on my thick long-johns, with flannel lined blue jeans, .. not shorts.

Yup, even though you went ahead and asked him now, and he simply said, as i suspected, that he just liked wearing shorts, you've already gotten into his head and figured out the truth.. he craves attention.

But let me get this straight, .. last night we all sat out in a bizzard watching a football game for three hours, with the temperature in the upper 20's. It was like sitting in a freezing cold snow globe for 3 hours. Thousands of people are bundled up to the max, .. but one guy is wearing shorts, .. sitting with a space heater between his legs, covered in a blanket with gloves, coat and hat.

I say that I think that is unusual, and you are saying that it is not, ... and yet you say I am the one out of touch ?? LOL

You have painted yourself into such a small little corner in this thread that you have nowhere to go except a cute little one liner.

Just so you know, I have enjoyed this a great deal myself.
