What is the magic that makes Parsons so much better?

He is not unusually large. He is not the fastest human ever. Even if he was, what makes him that way? Does he have better vision?

Does he work out harder?
Did he have a better coach or trainer?
Is his DNA unique and providing higher than average speed, vision or brain power?
Does he study his opponents more than others?

How can we get other cowboys up to his level? Is it teachable? Can they train like he does?

Can what he has be shared or taught?

There isn't a single human in the NFL with his size and weight faster then him. He literally beats our wide receivers in foot races. Dude is a genetic monster with the drive to win that is un matched.

Honestly,

I believe he is a generational pass rusher. If nothing happens he will be a first ballot HOFer because of his ability to rush the QB.

I believe he is completely average in run defense and coverage.

That's why he should, and it seems like Quinn is leaning this way too, be rushing the passer 90% of the time. Just sit back and let him be LT.

Being as gifted as Micah happens once in a lifetime. The Cowboys were lucky and I mean lucky to get him. Their choice was to get a defensive back but the ones they wanted didn't fall to them. Micah is that kind of a player that makes everyone around him better. He reminds me of Emmitt Smith in that he loves to play the game. He's something special to watch, doesn't matter how or why.

i'm not sure how many passes i've seen hit him in the hands at this point lol. i'd love for him to be able to snag one, but definitely not a strength

And he dropped only because they didn't have him as a pass rushed in college. He would've been viewed like von coming out if he had.

He runs and cuts like a CB but is a 245 pound guy. That is unheard of.

What truly makes him special is his instincts, football IQ and his drive to win.

He has intangibles that are special with physical gifts that are even more rare. It is a package that is exceedingly difficult to stop.

He’s basically LT all over again.

What I still can't understand is why he was so low on the Cowboys draft board. I guess he was in the 6-10 range but even so

one factor is the guy has crazy drive, I remember him being antsy about not getting enough plays in the first half of his first preseason game in his rookie year

He has the heart of a lion and the desire of Satan. Lol You can't coach up that. You either have it or you don't.

Oh, throw in competitiveness to that.

Without those 3 traits, my man Manu Ginobili would be just a JAG instead of a HOF basketball player.

Speed, quickness, agility, and instincts.

Yes, his DNA is unique. No, cannot be taught.

Wayne Gretzky had it - like no other athlete in history .
Knowing where the puck was going and being there ahead of it .

Parsons runs to spaces to angles before the back does .

It’s sports IQ that few are born with .
