1. Commanders- What more can I say than that this is the biggest rivalry is football? LaVar knocked Troy Aikman out of the game when he could have played 1 or 2 more years, and I can't stand Joe Gibbs.

2. Giants- I live in New Jersey so all I ever hear is how great Eli Manning is and how great the Giants are, every store I walk into all i see is Blue and Red, they're fans are so annoying, whenever I have a football conversation it goes like this, "cowboys suck" end of conversation and he walks away.

3. Eagles- pretty much tied with the Giants, if i lived in philly they'd probly be no. 2, they're fans are *******s that cheered when the Playmaker got hurt, and the more they beat us the more I hated them, thank god we finally swept them.

Alright you compassionate fans, let's see what's the general consensus:

Here are just a random sampling of some of the reasons for hating a particular NFCE team ...

Commanders

...I hate them, their "blank-blank beep" coach Joe Gibbs, and their transvestite pig fans the most.

... I have been a Cowboys fan since 1963 and for most of those 43 seasons the Commanders have been our biggest rivals. Losing that MNF game earlier after holding them scoreless really hurt. This latest debacle was just pitiful.

... ill say growing up the Commanders were my most hated rival

... Commanders have been at the top of my hate list for most of the history of the Cowboys, never really liked them except for a few players, never as a team.

... Right now the Commanders are at the top with the Eagles close behind.

... The Commanders........forever..... hated George Allen

... _______ hates the DEADSKINS 1st

... 1. Commanders- What more can I say than that this is the biggest rivalry is football? LaVar knocked Troy Aikman out of the game when he could have played 1 or 2 more years, and I can't stand Joe Gibbs.

Eagles

...Since the late 80s when we started to decline the Eagles have stepped up to become a threat. We dominated them throughout most of our history except for the late 80s-early 90s and the last several years when they creamed us over and over.

... I had an intense hate for Philly at the beginning of the year(and still do).

... ill say growing up the Commanders were my most hated rival, but since the Buddy Ryan Era to the present, the Eagles have took over that role

... As a skins fan, The Cowboys and Eagles are 1 and 1A

... The Eagles fans really made me hate them for the first time when Irvin was hurt and the response from their fans. I like you have been a Cowboys fan for a very long time (when the announced they signed Dandy Don back at the beginning). Was a Texans (became KC) fan before that.

... I have not liked the Eagles since the Days of Buddy Ryan......and the Irvin incident.

... Eagles- pretty much tied with the Giants, if i lived in philly they'd probly be no. 2, they're fans are *******s that cheered when the Playmaker got hurt, and the more they beat us the more I hated them, thank god we finally swept them.

Caveat:

Since this is a Cowboys' MB no one was willing to pontificate as to why the Cowboys should not earn the title of Most hated Franchise in the NFCE ...or NFCE's Biggest Rival?

But then, many of you already know that I have no problem giving my perspective. As such ...

Cowboys

... Jealousy that the Cowboys have 5 SB rings; leading the NFCE East, if not the NFL in overall SB victories

... the notorious "horseshoe" tackle was coined after a Cowboy player's tackle and injury of an opponent fan -- hence the horseshoe tackle was banned!

... Cowboy fan's precious "Star"

... year's of domination over the NFCE

... because of the concept -- the Enemy of my Enemy is still not my friend ...if he is an Eagles' fan

Consensus:

From a Cowboys' fan perspective -- Eagles/Commanders tie!

From an Opponent fan's perspective -- Insufficient representation!

So PT, here's a question. If you asked the other teams in the NFC East about their "hates"...what would their answers be?

Giants fan here. It's really the fans that change my attitude towards teams. I respect rivalries. But it's dumb fans that get the hate.

1. Eagles. Their stab-happy, tough-talking fans deserve all the hate in the world. It's great to say, "NO SUPERBOWLS FOR YOU!" They use the bitterness of losing as an excuse to assualt children. Love that McNabb though. He doesn't deserve the crap being flung at him. Ironically, a few Eagles fans I spoken to are nice dudes and chicks. Too bad they get drowned out by the crassness of the many.

2. Commanders, since Joe Gibbs returned. It's like the Commanders are all of a sudden coached by God. And this God is whiny about the refs. As always there are those few who don't fit the bill. Also they have a big win over the Cowboys and the sports media has once again been acting like they are going to the Superbowl.

3. Cowboys. I'm apathetic towards you guys. I have no ill will. You're the least whiny of NFC East fans(Including my own). Your team is the gold standard in the Superbowl era. I think you guys have owned the Giants. But again, that reluctance to blame the refs is remarkable. Must be a Texas thing. Maybe if you had swept us, then I would have felt something. But otherwise, meh.

I can tell who Phoenix-Talon hates. I notice you're trying to drive these guys to hate the Giants as well. I don't think they will ever forgive the Eagles fans for cheering Michael Irvin's injury though. And of course there is the Commanders rivalry, so there's that "hate" between Cowyboys and Injuns. Both teams clashed for many years. They have both been dominant at the same time.

But the Giants have sucked when the Cowboys have been good. No chance to develop a rivalry or hate.

By far the Eagles. Ever since the '80 NFC Championship game where we lost in Philly. In addition, the botched 2 4th and 1 calls, the bounty bowl, and Irvin's injury in Philly.

The fans are rude, and ruthless. They should win something before they can talk crap.

2nd was the Commanders, but at least they had a good foundation until Snyder bought the team.

I dont "hate' the Giants. I respect them, as like us, they are 'old school'.

The Cowboys are the most hated team in the NFC East. It's not even close. Hell, I think it's quite certain that the Cowboys are the most hated team in the NFL.

Anyway, I pick the Eagles as my most hated team. While I detest Washington, I could never forgive the way the fans acted at Veteran's Stadium the day that Irvin was almost crippled.

Tiki Barber killed the Chiefs because of poor tackling.
Chris Cooley beat the Cowboys because he is great. WAAYYY too much credit to Chris Cooley, the FB/TE.

Stop pretending the NFL hates you, the refs hate you, there is an anti-Commanders conspiracy. It's annoying.

Always remember, the 36-0. :D

Here's to no injuries on Saturday. :)

The most hated team is probably going to be the best team. Who hates the Cardinals?

people (coaches, players, fan, etc) complain about officiating all the time, here's to the "we had an extra 'home game' team" getting it handed to them!!!!!!!!!
