What is the one position you don't want picked at 10?

Positions that are pretty much guaranteed not to be on the list: P, K, LS, and I assume after Dak's deal, a QB
Positions probably not having enough value to take at 10: S, DT, OG/C
Positions that have the value, but should be pretty low on our list: WR, TE
Positions of need that have the value: DE, CB, OT, LB
Positions of need that have the value, but that I don't really want at 10: DE, LB

But the position I don't want the most at 10 is RB. A replacement for Zeke may very well be, (and if they intend on getting out of his contract after the 2022 season as they should be) taken in this draft, but I see it as a mid-rd pick possibly VT Herbert or OSU Sermon.

Punter, kicker, or any position on offense. I want the BDPA, or best defensive player available.

Literally don't care, just draft BPA. If QB or WR is available at 10, then seek a trade partner or draft BPA.

No more running backs though. Never again with a 1st round running back.

It would be nice if there was a killer DE or DT worthy of the pick.... At least I don't think they would.
Won't take a QB at ten to the dismay of some.
Won't take a RB at ten.
Won't take a safety at ten.
Won't take a center at ten.

So that leaves the following options...

LB
CB
TE in Pitts
WR long shot unless they work out a trade for Gallup.
OT
Why no safety!

We have literally needed one for 2 decades.

Safety, it's the lowest ranked position in the top 50.

That's the one position you should really want the Cowboys to take and do really well with. In this Defensive Scheme, it's the key. You have to have that perennial Pro Bowl level FS that can do it all. That guy makes everything work.

But unfortunately, this draft doesn't have a Top 10 FS either. To bad........

No position. Please trade back this year. There will be a good trade available.

DT, S, DE, LB, C, G, QB, RB - cannot take any of these at #10

We can take TE, WR, CB, OT - those positions at least have value at 10

I would love to trade down and get Horn at CB with an extra 2nd or 3rd

Not sure what value WR has for us at 10. I get that the best player might be a WR but with what you have invested at the WR position now, it would be downright comical to take another WR at 10. I get BPA but at that point, you are just wasting a pick taking yet another WR.

And OT is a reach at 10 in this draft IMO unless it's Sewell. You say G doesn't have value at 10 but the guy everyone wants - Slater - people wonder if he's an OG at the next level. If I am taking a guy at 10 that could be an OG in the NFL, he better be in the Quenton Nelson class, and Slater isn't.

This really is a crap year to be picking 10.

I wouldn’t want a QB, RB, WR!

My dream scenario? Pick up Tomlinson at DT, and a vet DB in free agency. Then draft Pitts at 10, a LB at 44, DL or DB at 75, DB or DL at 99, then OT, LB, DB, etc....
