That is the big thing at extremeskins that Romo dinks and dunks. Somehow that makes them feel better but the stats say different.

Do you expect Skin fans to understand football ...... half of them probably do not know what "dink and dunk" means.

Well evidently they only watch the Commanders games and do not bother watching Dallas game because a blind man can see the chunks of yardage that Romo is producing in the passing game.

well considering extremeskins is a land full of hogafied homers, i'm not sure which is more amazing. 1) that they are hogafied homers or 2) that you go in there expecting something else. : )

i ain't gonna let a jealous skins fan bring me down baby!

I have never seen such Bias from a group of sports fans than over there. I don't post there and will not do so. But I appreciate fans who are realistic and have an open mind. The majority there do not do so. Give credit where it is due. This goes for all sports fans for any fan base. Its one thing to dislike a team, but its another to be biased and ignore facts/observations.

The only thing ES posters know about dinking and dunking is when they have their donuts in the morning. :D

I have to admit I've never encountered more homerism (maybe Cub fans, but it's close) in my life. I was reading a thread where one Skins fan thought they had way better RB's and WR's then Dallas.

One thing I continually read is them *****ing and moaning about not opening up their offense. At some point you have to think the coaches don't trust your line or QB to get it done. Throw in the fact you don't have very good WR's and their game plans make sense. Maybe playcalling is questionable, but the idea of keeping people under control might be correct. I think it all comes down to QB play IMO. We always wanted to open up our offense, but couldn't do it until Tony has given our coaches confidence he will make the right decisions. What was BP's favorite line about QB's? "You can't just dial 1-800-QB and get a solid QB".

According to STATS LLC, over half of his passes have been caught after 11+ yards.

I went there after week 2 just to see what they were posting. There was a whole thread on how they were probably going to go 6-0 for the first part of the season. That thread was like 10 pages long. :lmao:

Needless to say, I haven't been back there since.

I guess they should be directed to PercyHoward's post on this forum for more insight on the subject. It is kind of hard to put up those kind of #'s in a dink and dunk offense.

Romo has the highest average gain (yards per pass attempt) of anyone in the history of the NFL after his first 14 starts, considering his number of attempts. Higher even, than the standard by which career starts for a QB are measured--Kurt Warner.

minimum 20 attempts per game
1. Romo.............8.91 ypa (431 att)....100.9 rating
2. Roethlisberger 8.88 ypa (295 att)......98.1 rating
3. Warner..........8.83 ypa (440 att).....111.4 rating

As opposed to Jason Campbell - who has a mere 25% of his completions caught after 11+ yards.

The silliest thing I've read over there is that a lot of skins fans think Cooley is as good as Witten.

Simply put, they're dumber than lint. Skins fans are among the biggest homers in the land. It's their life's ambition to spin ANYTHING they can in a negative light when it comes to the Cowboys. They're the most jealous fans of any and all team sports. They hate us because they know we're superior and always have been.

I think Cooley is their best player on offense. He may not be as good as Witten, but he's pretty close.

As for ES, I go there for comedy relief. That's about it. I think there is one poster there who is realistic. His name is "SnyderMustGo". Everyone else just seems to be blind homers.

I live in the DC area...so I cannot avoid them...they are actually an entertaining bunch over their at Commanders Park...but the funny thing about extremeskins is they ban people in a NY minute...then they start threads about our games...and when the score is 0-0 or Dallas is losing they wonder aloud where all the bandwagon Cowboy fans are! It is just moronic. Look, we are not going 16-0....I can live with that...but they are on a death watch waiting for us to lose. It is just comical.

Its really only two morons. Tr1 and Bubba.

They are the most blind homers in all of football fandom. They would rather chop off a finger than give credit to anything cowboys.

Tr1 is a pathetic joke. Even other skins fans don't respect him because he's just a fricken idiot. Everyone knows it except him.

Bubba is ridiculous too. At least he'll try to spin something and at least attempt to make an argument no matter how wrong he is. He would compare an 0-16 skins team to a 14-2 cowboys team and somehow declare the skins superior for whatever reason.

When it comes down too it, they are so envious of us it hurts. 8 NFC championships 5 Lombardi's. Two of their lombardi's came during strike years. HA. But they don't see anything wrong with that.

Yeah, that throw to Crayton down the sideline on a rope was, what either a dink or a dunk? What impresses me most about Romo is on 3rd down and long man. He has been getting it done.
