What is your confidence level in Dunbar/Randle/Williams to tote the rock?

First off I hope nothing happens to Murray. I only ask this because I am sure like many of you have heard the wheels are going to fall off when Murray gets hurt this year. If he were to go down for the season how confident are you the Boys will keep rolling?

on a scale of 1-10 with this offensive line:

Randle: 9
Dunbar: 8
Williams: 8

It will be a drop off for sure, Randle looked fairly good in the preseason, his sample size in the regular season has been small, 18 carries.

I think Randle is more adapt at taking on the bigger load it was something he did often at OSU. I think losing Murray for an extended time would be hard to overcome

Randle had trouble with the dirty yards against the Giants. Give him a big hole at LOS and he is fine, will even punish defenders in the secondary. But struggles with the big boys in traffic. Dunbar is even worse when it comes to dirty yards, or running in a phone booth.

The second best runner on the team is Ryan Williams. Needs to sharpen everything else in his toolbox however. As for Murray, you just have to believe. This season has been a miracle so far right? Enjoy it now while we can, all this premature second guesing is useless. But if Murray goes down, we will see just how indispensible he is. IMO it will become RB by committee in that situation.

Of the 3 backup running backs, I think Randle is the most complete.

Dunbar had some really good runs against the Giants. They were not big yardage, but were tough yards. He got hit really hard on one and bounced off to gain about 3 more yards.

If Murray got hurt, I wouldn't have a ton of confidence in that group.

Murray is much better than all of them especially in short yardage situation. He seems to always find that extra yard and his vision is better IMHO. Not to mention he's really good at picking up the blitz.

During the series where Murray wasn't in the game the offense just seemed off. I think people are underestimating his impact.

I do feel good in a short term situation with Randle and Dunbar. If it's a game or a half or something. It's like if something happened to Romo there is going to be a dropoff with most 2nd/3rd stringers but I feel like Randle and Dunbar would be able to maintain for a short period of time.

Since Williams is apparently the best kept secret in the history of the NFL from what I read around here I'll say give the ball to Randle.

I think Randle could handle the running load if needed. Certainly not as well as Murray, but sufficient. I would be much more concerned about pass blocking. I don't feel anywhere near as comfortable with either Randle or Dunbar back there as I do Murray.

If they can average 4 yards a carry, I have no problem with them toting the rock.

Enjoy this year. Murray is gone after this season.
