Rooting for total humiliation. It’s the only way. The Bosa fine also makes me hate the NFL more than ever. I am a stubborn guy. I am strongly considering a long separation from this joke of a franchise and the league.

I preach the same to all of my Cowboys brethren nationwide, but then game day rolls around, and I hide in a small, isolated viewing room, in the fetal position sucking my thumb and sobbing.

Fandom level? I am a cynical realist. Leopards don’t change their spots.

JJ, SJ, the FO, the HC, the QB, the culture of the team… all of it reeks of soft, entitled, ingrained arrogance , stubbornness, and incompetence

I have very little hope things will change positively until JJ is gone, and very likely not even then.

Maybe this team hires a great coach who can temporarily inject enough vigor and power and effect enough micro change to allow a decent run in the playoffs— but I am not counting on it.

I will always be a Cowboys fan.

But my "fan apathy" has reached an all-time low. I now watch games expecting failure. It's not as enjoyable anymore, but at the same time, it takes a lot of pressure off as well.

The older I get and the more life hits me, the more I take football for what it truly is: simple entertainment. I always want the Cowboys to win. But whether they do or not no longer affects me as it did even six or seven years ago.

I am not so sure now that Dak is on IR. Winning without him will drive Jerry up the wall because it will prove signing Dak was a collosal mistake that he has to live with for the next 4 years

He will be smiling on the outside but dying on the inside

Jerry needs and deserves the ultimate embarrassment. It’s the only way any possible change - even as remote as those chances may be.

Plus we get better draft picks. Lose every game in as ugly fashion as possible.
