Will always pull for the team but am literally disgusted with how the team is ran and how we are the laughingstock of the league. The Jets have made a better attempt at getting good than we have over the last 5 years. We are pathetic.

Can't believe I'm still here, I will continue to watch every game because I am admittedly a Cowboys addict, and I will continue to watch every minute of every game despite the dissatisfaction that this season has provided.

At this point I just watch with the enthusiasm to somehow be able to beat the Eagles, I don't care about losing draft slotting as much as I would enjoy
somehow finding a way to beat the Eagles.

If there can be one single salvation from this putrid season, it would be to interrupt Eagles and/or Commodes playoff plans.
I have not been this discouraged as a Cowboys fan in decades.
I know that we have no chance of winning with Jerry in charge.
So I have had to step back somewhat in my devotion to this team.
Will watch when convenient, and have zero expectations.

Right now, at this point in time when we're struggling so painfully, following this team is like keeping up with a habit I can't shake! :omg:
Nevertheless, I still manage to get excited when gametime comes around. The thrills of feeling so alive never does let me down!
This game I'm studying every play of the Dallas offensive line against a very good pair of Eagle defensive linemen. Dallas running the ball and sacks the offensive line gives up. A lot of money may change next season in that very unit.

My fandom hasn't changed since I was 8 years old in 1974.
I have been following since 1960. I never have disappointed in Jerry. Not always the same in play, always watched their play...cursing my TV or not.:starspin:

Long time Cowboys fans have been here before. The late 1980s were pretty awful. But when we have seasons like this we look forward. Forget 2024. It is not our year. Now we have to look at the 2025 draft and hope we have the opportunity to select at least two starters. But Jerry can just as easily blow it in the draft as he has in free agency. Still we can hope.

Of the 8 games played, I have watched 3 so far. The other 5 games there has been a good reason why I didn't. 2 games were not on in my area, 1 game I was on my way to Mexico, 1 on Amazon Prime and another I was busy getting married. She is not a big football fan in general. Now I could have relocated to a sports bar but wasn't feeling it. I think the word is "apathetic".

I am a longtime fan going back to Landry/Staubach glory days and after 28 seasons in a row of playoff irrelevancy, I’ve seen nothing from Jerry or his idiot son to indicate they can build a team capable of a deep playoff run. Almost 30 years to experiment, follow trends, etc, the Jones boys are only capable of winning a wc game once every 7-10 years. That’s the ceiling as long as Jerry is alive and Stephen seems to have all the hubris Jerry has and more.

One issue that Fangio’s disciples have encountered when replicating this scheme elsewhere is that the approach can make the defense vulnerable against the run if they don’t have stout defensive linemen. The Eagles learned that lesson the hard way last year, when Desai’s defense gave up the third-most EPA/rush. But Fangio has turned things around this year, and the Eagles are 14th in EPA/rush. They also rank 13th in run defense DVOA. Neither are overly impressive, but it’s a noticeable improvement from last year.

Where Fangio has improved the defense is against the pass. Fangio prefers to use just four pass rushers - Philly ranks 25th in blitz rate - but they’re giving up the fifth-fewest yards per pass attempt. This is despite the Eagles ranking 22nd in pressure rate and 13th in sacks.

This is because Fangio’s defense forces quarterbacks to throw quick, short passes as a method of combatting the coverage schemes he utilizes. Only the Titans defense is seeing a shorter time to throw from opposing quarterbacks and they’ve given up the fifth-fewest completed air yards on the season.

My interest is almost nonexistent this season. The last bit of hope I had disappeared when they re-signed Dak on opening day. That was the moment I realized this team isn't serious about winning or making necessary changes. Sure, Jerry, let’s keep running this same mediocre cycle and expect something different each time. It’s a joke.

Yeah, I’m still lurking on the boards and I’ll stream the games, but my passion’s on pause until something drastic happens. I’m done pouring emotions into a team that refuses to learn from its mistakes.

Thankfully, my Boise State Broncos are having a stellar season, and Ashton Jeanty has been a blast to watch.

Then you accept mediocrity. Thats fine.

Everybody’s different. Most people would strive to be better than they were last year, the last ten years, the last 30 years but that’s just most people.

Cowboys fan for life here. I wasn't expecting much from the season to begin with. Hate the foolish contract that might ruin the cowboys chances for success in future seasons. Come game time I'll be rooting for the cowboys to win.

You accept it too, you're still here! Hypocritical, don't you think....most people that don't accept mediocrity would have left, but that's just most people. You're still here, so get over your judgemental self. LOL, literally, LOL.

I will still watch all the Cowboys games.

However my overall attention for the NFL is down this year. i will have the games on, but may do other things during the non Dallas games and not pay as much attention to them as I used to.
It sucks because I am the same way this year and it has nothing to do with the NFL just DAL has left this bad taste in my mouth when it comes to football

Negative 2,000,000,000. I hope this franchise loses every game until the Jones’ are forced to sell the team. DP’s contract is the worst ever given to an NFL player and I hope he chokes down every dollar of it.

I’m all in!
You know when you are stuck is a bad traffic jam because of a really bad accident, but no matter how bad the accident is you have to slow down and take a look.
Well that’s pretty much how I will be viewing the Cowboys for the next 5 or 6 years.

Watch as a numb fan.
That's my level.
Yep we got limitations
Wait for the fixes, if ever fully addressed.
Just wanna watch some football, no matter how good or bad we are.
In JJ we.....

Whatever.

“Hypothetical, don’t you think”….this doesn’t hold water. Still being here and accepting mediocrity are two different animals.
