Bobby Carpenter is on the board at #18 ... and the Cowboys trade down. The board explodes with anger! The Cowboys wind up trading down a second time. The eventually have two second round picks, a fourth, and a pick next year.

In the second round the Cowboys select Daryn Colledge (OT, Boise State) and a free safety. In the third round the Cowboys select Mark Anderson (OLB Alabama).
