I figured it would be fun to get everyone to make a bold draft prediction for the Cowboys in the upcoming draft. By bold, I mean something that has not been rumored in the last week or two and is not a draft pick or trade scenario that has been mentioned in official mock drafts or by other users.
For example, my prediction is that the Cowboys trade Tony Romo and their #49 pick (second round) to the Jets for their #29 pick (first round). Then the Cowboys use their #18 pick and the #29 pick they acquired from the Jets to move up a few spots in the first round and pick up a replacement second round pick that is higher than the one they had originally.
Why? Because the Jets don't want to "waste" a pick on a quarterback that is going to ride the bench if Pennington is able to come back but need insurance in case he doesn't come back or his return is delayed.
Chance of this happening? Not very likely.
