I think it will all fall on the snapper, we will have a new one next week.
Bad snaps on at least 2 punts, and one on a crucial field goal.
See ya Laddy, welcome back Condo.

Thats what I was thinking. I saw Mcbriar moving around to catch the snaps several times. And I don't know if it was the snap on the missed fg but it sure didn't help matters.

I think it's possible that Romo is the only guy back there next week who was this week.

The snap was bad on the missed FG but Romo got it down and it still should of been made and Cortez gave Tony the Don Romo a bad look i should kill him.

Good thing he wasn't screaming, he might have had Round 2 with Larry Allen.

I noticed that too and cursed Cortez at that moment. He looks to have waaay too much arrogance in proportion to his track record. This guy apparently needs picture perfect circumstances on every kick or else he has a built-in excuse and justification for even the most ridiculous of misses.

Granted, there is the possibility that the "look" he gave to Romo was because perhaps they had talked about the long snapper having a rough time before the kick, and then the snap was off, and it was kind of a "see what I mean"-type of deal in reference to him.

Isn't Doug Brien available? Yahoo says that he's with the Bears but is inactive. Other than the botched kicks in the playoffs last year, he's got to be better than Cortez.

I really wouldn't mind seeing Richie Cunningham brought back, but I know Parcells wouldn't do that. We better look to see who his kicker was with the Giants in the 80's to see who our new kicker will be.

I never thought I would miss Billy Cundiff so much, he would have made those chipshots Jose misses, Those fg's could have made us 5-1.

Maybe we should score more TD's so we don't have to rely on Cortez so much.

With our luck he'll get release and the Foreskins will sign him again and he'll kick the winning field goal against us in December.

I blame whoever is responsible of getting the ball into the end zone - we should'nt depend on field goals and "prevent" defense to win games. Don't get me wrong our defense is playing a lot better than last year - but we need more points on the board.
