What killer defense?

hey...when the QB goes back to pass, and with a pass rush...we can all comfortablly say, we have 1 part of the field SHUT DOWN 4 sure...and the other part 80% of the time shut down...and with the a pass rush that 80% should go up to 90%....

can SD make that arguement that they have atleast 1 side on lock? i think not!

I don't think the bar is set very high.

Statistics are nice, but how and when you stop an opponent in a game is even better. If you look at San Diego's dominating season, their Wade Phillips defense had a hand in it. They had an ungodly amount of sacks and where opponent momentum killers despite losing some key personnel to injury and suspension.
