Rover and Jag, have a history of unreliability. Rover more with the models imported to the US, but Jag everywhere. Add in the expensive parts, maintenance and repairs.

I see lots of brand new Rovers and Jags around my area. Really nice vehicles. Quite a few below me right now in this parking garage. These aren’t for people who worry about the money. They’re leasing them. And that’s my #1 moto on cars. Buy according to what suits and works best for your lifestyle.
