Do fans think McCarthy would call better plays for whatever QB you think can come in and replace Dak?

Fix the coaching, add some bulk on defense, and then you will see a better team.

Bingo. 100% correct

Which, unless they stop making Johnny Blue immediately, will become a worse problem in about 2 months
They are stuck due to their own stupidity. Unless they have some master plan to offload the bus driver and his salary and go with Lance.

Or replace the barely above average QB1 but a defense, oline, get a cheaper QB who can win more, and try to change something. We’ve already replaced coaching with Dak. He’s the common denominator.

So it's not even a question to you that the plays might look bad because Dak isn't skilled enough to dissect and execute things?

To give an honest answer I think it's been this team's history. Because they have not really drafted a QB to be the "savior" and hit since Troy Aikman.

Quincy Carter (2001 2nd round pick) was an epic fail; as was the pick they traded to Houston in 2004 to get Drew Henson.

They lucked into Tony Romo as an undrafted free agent, and they drafted Dak in the 4th round in 2016 to be a developmental guy. They lucked into him since he's far exceeded their initial expectations.

Also they realize how hard it is to find a franchise quarterback. There are a ton of teams in the NFL right now that would love to have Dak, that's not opinion, it's fact. The thing is if they move on from Dak do they instantly find someone better? Or do we return to the 2000-2006 quarterback nightmare around here that didn't end until Parcells finally did the right thing and play Romo?

What does he do that's good?

What skills can you point to that sets him apart right now from what Joe Flacco is doing?
His stats are good at home, they stink on the road. We've won the last 14 games at home but all 5 of our losses are on the road. I am not here debating you and saying he is not replaceable. I was rooting for Rush to keep the job last year. I no longer think Rush is the answer but I would trade Dak and start over.

On the flip side of Dak the O gives you the lead with three and charge left and right off the bat Damone Clark puts Miami at midfield with a dumb lazy reach of a face mask penalty .
