What makes Jerry think his way of doing business is good?

You are confusing "Business" with "Football."

Business-wise, Jerry Jones is a Hall of Famer. Bought the Cowboys for $179 million IIRC. Now worth north of $7 BILLION.

Football-wise? Well, THAT is a different story.

Jerry Jones.

Additional questions:

Who hired Barry Switzer, who barely coached Jimmy Johnson's team to another Super Bowl win?

Who hired Chan Gailey and gave him only two seasons before pink slipping him?

Who hired Dave Campo, a coach so revered by his players that they pantsed him?

Who hired Bill Parcells and proceeded to not get fully out of his way (i.e. Terrell Owens)?

Who hired a barely wet behind the ears Jason Garrett as his offensive coordinator savant before hiring his Wade Phillips as his head coach a month later?

Who kept Jason Garrett around four years longer than Johnson? Five years longer than Switzer? Seven years longer than Gailey? Six years longer than Campo (who at least had much more coaching experience before getting the gig)? Five years longer than Parcells? 5 1/2 years longer than Phillips? Four years longer than McCarthy?

"Who hired Jimmy?" Please.

Jones mismanaged the team's salary cap and Sanders' compensation was a sizable chunk but it was not the overwhelming catalyst for Johnson team's demise.
Just a part of it. Jerry started letting key players walk, that's why we fell apart.

There is no longer a lack of a salary cap and very top players dominate the funds available. It then is the schemes of the coaching staff and game time adaptability for usage on the carpet. Preparation to handle all conditions and team discipline are guidelines for leadership.

The Cowboys throw out more then the initial purchase price to invest in other enterprises.

And you must evaluate extremely accurately to determine who your top players are and exactly how much they should be paid. Jerry is the worst GM I've ever seen at player evaluation, so there's your problem.

We've had no success winning games, playoffs, Superbowls etc. this will be the 30th year since our last Superbowl if I'm correct.

The way Jerry did things back then worked, but he's taken on a new approach, stay still, low ball everyone, and a Superbowl will come to you! This is not the Jerry who if Tyreek Hill were a great player back then and really wanted to be a Cowboy, Jerry would have at least talked to him!

Jerry's way of doing things these days are doing more hurt than they are good. It's a broken record talking about him, but in our hearts we want what Jerry doesn't want, we want that championship!!!

Please give your thoughts
He’s a billionaire, lol I would say the way he’s been doing business is very successful

Because the league has changed and most fans wont accept it.

The end.
